Shelby Santini

Maid of Honor

As the middle sister in the Santini girl trio, Shelby is the most flexible and easy going. Unlike Alanna, she is always willing to share her food, a quality Joey loves when going out to dinner with the Santini family. Shelby is also a constant voice of reason and brings calm to any chaotic situation (which occurs frequently in a house of all girls). She has taken these skills into her professional life as a police officer for the Winchester Police Department. Shelby will be off-duty during the wedding, but will have handcuffs and TASER ready for the afterparty.

Analise Santini

Maid of Honor

Analise is the baby of the Santini clan and fills this role perfectly. She is a free-spirit with a special gift at bringing the entire family together, oftentimes laughing at her recent antics and adventures. Although nearly 6 years apart, Alanna and Analise are very close and talk on the phone almost daily, keeping each other up to date with every detail of their lives. Joey met Analise when she was only 12 years old and has been there to see her grow up from a middle-schooler to a recent graduate of the University of Rhode Island.

Carli Dimino

Bridesmaid

Carli is not only Joey's sister, but has been friends with Alanna since the very beginning. Carli and Alanna roomed together during Alanna's freshman year swim training trip, where Carli was able to put in a good word for Joey, encouraging the relationship that began soon after. Carli and Alanna share a passion for fitness, nutrition and loving all the same Instagram influencers. Carli works in politics in Washington DC and is the proud mother of two Caique Parrots named Mango and Oscar.

Breanna Stewart

Bridesmaid

Breanna and Alanna first met on their swim recruiting trip to Boston College, and were immediately known as the "girls with the rhyming names," for the entire weekend. They hit it off, and decided to room together freshman year, sharing a quaint 100 square foot dorm room. They bonded over their shared love for Goldfish crackers, reality TV and a solid bedtime routine. Breanna recently shocked the world by leaving Boston and moving to NYC for a job with Simon Data. She is the go-to girl for the latest celebrity gossip and will be ready to spill the tea during wedding festivities if you are lucky!

Alyssa Niebrugge

Bridesmaid

Alyssa and Alanna met on the Boston College swim team, sharing a love/hate relationship for the backstroke events. Originally from Wisconsin, Alyssa introduced the east coast crew to the wonders of puppy chow and reminding everyone to actually slow down and listen to each other when speaking. Alyssa has lived in Austin, TX since graduation, where Alanna has visited several times to check out the bars on Rainey Street, try the breakfast tacos, and of course shop at the flagship Whole Foods store. Alyssa will soon be moving to Nashville, and Alanna can't wait to visit and check out all her old favorite spots.

Alex Rotondo

Bridesmaid

Alex and Alanna met freshman year at BC and shared a room for 3 years as direct roommates. Although Alex was not on the BC swim team, she was an unofficial member and attended all BC swim events, confusing the freshmen class each year as to why they only saw her at parties and never at practice. Alex is an extremely loyal friend and will stick up for her people, willing to fight anyone (man or woman) that stands in her way. Alex is a lawyer in Connecticut, and is also an invaluable resource to her friends, providing free legal advice and contract review as requested - whether she likes it or not!

Bridget Slade

Bridesmaid

Bridget and Alanna met during their Cigna interview senior year of college. They both accepted the position and attended a 10-week long training academy in Connecticut during the summer of 2013. They were inseparable all summer long, and have been each other's "co-anchors" ever since. Although they have been in a long-distance & bi-coastal relationship since then, they make it a point to see each other as often as possible and plan trips to meet up in different cities across the country. Bridget works as an Account Executive for Cigna in NYC, with a side hustle of making the best itineraries and restaurant reservations for any weekend trip.

Amanda Hamilton

Bridesmaid

Amanda and Alanna were roommates during their time in Nashville, along with Amanda's Instagram famous golden retriever named Paisley. Amanda attended Vanderbilt Law School and welcomed Alanna with open arms as an honorary member of the Vandy crew. During their time in Nashville, Alanna and Amanda were regulars at The Stage (among other honky tonks) and never missed an opportunity to request the band to play "Callin' Baton Rouge." Today, Amanda lives in LA working for FOX Entertainment, and Alanna is very appreciative to have her in the Pacific time zone for their regular catch up phone calls.

David Mesri

Best Man

After joining Axon in 2012 Joey had first heard of coworker David Mesri before meeting him since Mesri was doing a rotation in Brazil. Joey had heard great things about Mesri: he was a smart and capable person, a great friend, and over 6 feet tall. When Mesri returned to the US, Joey found out that only two of those three things were true and has had to help Mesri reach things on the top shelf ever since. Despite never living in the same city at the same time, Mesri and Joey have stayed close thanks to similar travel schedules, often using them as excuses to explore new cities or countries. David still works at Axon and continues to look up to Joey as a mentor in his career.

Guanyi "Tony" Huang

Groomsman

Tony and Joey became quick friends after starting at the same time and in the same Leadership Development Program at Axon. When given the opportunity they moved together from Scottsdale to the newly minted Seattle office in 2014 where they remained roommates until the fateful day when Alanna moved to Seattle. Although sad about losing a roommate, Tony was happy to gain a new friend in Seattle and has remained a close friend of both Joey and Alanna. Tony is also an intern (or maybe founder and CEO) of Possible Finance and works with co-founder Tyler Conant.

Tyler Conant

Groomsman

Although working at the same company for several years, Joey and Tyler did not get to know each other until they both moved to the Seattle office in April of 2014. Both new to the city and having nothing to do, they explored the downtown Seattle area until they found a nice bar to have a few hundred beers each and get to know each other. Since then, Joey and Tyler have remained close friends, finding excuses to go car camping in Orcas Island, hiking and rafting down the Grand Canyon, or driving Joey to the ER after witnessing him break his leg skiing at Crystal Mountain. Tyler works with Tony Huang and is co-founder and CTO of Possible Finance.

Eugene Cheng

Groomsman

Eugene was introduced to Joey and Tony through a mutual friend who made the connection since they had all moved up to Seattle at the same time. A passion for the culinary arts, Eugene and Joey quickly bonded over how to make Kombucha and which coffee shops serve the best espresso in Seattle. Eugene still holds the accolade of visiting the most coffee shops in a single workday and holds the controversial opinion that McDonalds, with their Newman’s Own Blend, has the best coffee. Eugene has a constant hunger for understanding and spreading knowledge, often sending out business, arts, tech, or health articles at random times throughout the day. After working at Amazon for several years, Eugene now works as a Director at local start up Wrench.

Zach Garippa

Groomsman

Zach has always been the type of person to make friends wherever he goes and in whatever situation he is in. Early in freshman year, Zach was one of Joey's first friends. Just a few doors down the hall in their freshman year dorm rooms, they quickly established a bond over fad diets, unnecessary workout supplements, and a love for hanging with friends instead of going to the library. They were direct roommates sophomore year and remained roommates throughout the remainder of college. During that time they perfected the art of dorm room cooking through the mastery of the George Foreman grill. When Joey moved to Seattle, Zach was the first person to visit, where they found their love for the Seattle Sounders soccer team. Zach lives in NYC where he is the founder and CEO at Negotiatus.

Paul "Beef" Gibson

Groomsman

Although not immediately close friends, Paul’s and Joey’s friendship grew throughout the first few years in college and solidified junior year when they lived together in off-campus housing. Paul’s love and affinity for all things Boston — the Pats, Celtics, Red Sox, Tom Brady, Townies, Cape Cod, unnecessary accents on easily pronounceable words—is only outshined by his love of his friends. Although Paul exudes a tough exterior he has been known to cry at the drop of a hat at weddings, something we are all looking forward to seeing as much as his wedding party alter-ego “Beef.”

Dave Grotz

Groomsman

Dave and Joey met on a summer abroad program between sophomore and junior year in Santiago, Chile. Both there to study Spanish, Dave and Joey instantly bonded on their inability to speak the native language. Back at BC, their friendship grew thanks to Dave’s key position as a bartender at MaryAnn’s, a local BC bar. After college, they continued to remain close friends thanks to a shared love of Scotch, Bourbon, and 4th of July celebrations on Cape Cod. When visiting to Boston, Joey tries to stay with Dave so that he can raid his extensive liquor collection while also making Paul jealous that he isn’t staying at his place.

Mike Valentino

Groomsman

Bonding quickly over being the only two people in their Boston College friend group who appreciated food that wasn’t from the dining hall or Pino’s Pizza, Mike and Joey spent their senior year trying to find the best fish taco spot in Boston (Dorado Tacos on Harvard St). After college Mike took a job which moved him away from the east coast, to Chicago, which allowed he and Joey to commiserate on the FOMO of missing the most BC tailgates and meet ups in Boston or New York. Over the years both Mike and Joey have made a point of visiting each other and exploring the food scenes of their respective locations. Mike has since capitulated and moved back to New York where he works at Wells Fargo opening fraudulent accounts to boost their numbers for the street.
