Joey and Casey met during an Ultimate Frisbee game hosted by their fraternity. Casey is the only one that thought Joey's off color humor was amusing - they've been friends ever since.

Julia is the best friend of the bride, and a beautiful, wild, free spirit. Julia and Shelby met in an acting class freshman year of college, and immediately clicked, as they were both Colorado-natives and lovers of nature and fun. Julia can make friends with anyone, and is the most down-to-earth (literally and figuratively) person you will ever meet. She's been Shelby's rock through many up's and down's and will always be the first person Shelby texts when something happens (whether it's good or bad, big or small).

Joey met Scott in his freshman year of college, and they engaged in many a shenanigans together. Later, Shelby shared a class with Scott, and they eventually became friends. Scott has been friends with the couple since the beginning of their relationship. He has a big personality and an even bigger heart - there is no one better suited to officiate our wedding!
Jordan Weitzman

Jordan is Shelby's little sister from Kappa Kappa Gamma. She is an outgoing, retro-loving, creative gal. She brings light and laughter to any situation. Jordan has proven to be one of the most loyal, caring, and attentive friends, and is Shelby's go-to for anything when she needs level-headed advice laced with humor and sass.

Joey and Josh have been friends since they were kids. Josh is the kind of guy that everyone ends up loving within minutes of meeting - when you meet him, remember this day is about Shelby and Joey, not your new bff Josh.
Melissa Watts

Melissa is Shelby's cousin. They've spent time together doing everything from running to Dairy Queen in their pajamas, to celebrating New Year's eve in the Bay Area. Shelby will always look up to Melissa, and see her as a big sister, confidant, and friend. Shelby was a bridesmaid for Melissa's big day, and can't wait for her to be there during her's.

From surf camp to blowing up fireworks in Colin's front yard, Colin and Joey have been close friends for years. Colin can somehow always talk Joey into doing something dumb (just ask them about eating the Zombie Taco). He always manages to find the silver lining in any situation and can make anyone smile.
Cicely Hong

Shelby and Cicely met during their first job out of college at Goldman Sachs, otherwise known as the most miserable place ever. Cicely is a unicorn in human form, and someone who will always listen to Shelby talk about her beloved cat, Phoebe. Shelby knows Cicely will be able to help her bring the "extra" aspects to her wedding she wouldn't have had otherwise, and to make sure everyone's faces are flawless (eyelashes included).
Kazu Yanagisawa

"Brother from another mother" has never been a more apt term. Kazu and Joey have been friends since childhood, and although Kazu now owns Joey's old (and favorite truck); Joey still likes him. Kazu is a steadfast friend and always puts others first (did we mention he jumps out of helicopters to save people?) - Joey wouldn't want anyone else with him on his big day.
Xer Cha

Xer and Shelby also met at Goldman Sachs, and Xer was the first person who made Shelby feel included and welcome. Xer is a powerful #bosslady and never lets anyone get her down. She has been a role model and loyal friend to Shelby throughout her years in San Francisco, and will always have a special place in Shelby's life and heart, even though she's not the biggest fan of warm fuzzies.
Tyler Adams

Tyler is one of Joey's oldest friends. From swimming lessons in Tyler's back yard, to summer vacations at Bass Lake, Tyler has always been like a brother to Joey. Joey got to lift Tyler up on a chair at his Bar Mitzvah, maybe he'll return the favor?
Emily McNamee

Emily and Shelby had a contentious relationship in elementary school, but it didn't stop them from becoming fast and trusting friends in middle and high school (thank goodness). Emily has always been the sweetest darn soul you could ever come into contact with, and spends her life dedicated to teaching little ones. While Shelby and Emily don't always keep in the best of touch, they are ALWAYS able to pick up exactly where they left off, and confide in one another. Also, it should be noted they share a deep and everlasting love for The Office, and Michael Scott.
