Cincinnati Zoo
The Cincinnati Zoo is one of the top zoos in the country and was ranked #5 in the US in 2025. It is home to Fiona, the cute baby hippo who was born 6 weeks early!
Cincinnati Museum Center
Cincinnati Museum Center is built within historic Union Terminal, featuring the Cincinnati History Museum, Museum of Natural History & Science, and The Children's Museum, offering interactive exhibits and the OMNIMAX Theater. Joelle got lost here as a child, but has since overcome her fear and highly recommends!
American Sign Museum
The American Sign Museum showcases more than 100 years of American signs and equipment used to build and display the signs. Joelle and Isaac have not visited themselves, but it is on their list and highly recommended by anyone who visits.
Findlay Market
Findlay Market is Ohio's oldest continuously operated public market and has vendors for everything from clothing and jewelry to fresh vegetables and meat. It's a great spot for a quick snack or meal at neighboring restaurants or for walking around to shop.
Skyline Chili
"Feeling good? It's Skyline Time!" A list of recommendations in Cincinnati, would not be complete without Isaac's all time favorite, Skyline Chili. While the idea of chili on spaghetti with a mountain of cheese on top does not always sound appealing to non-Ohio natives, it is a must try on your visit!
Graeter's Ice Cream
Another Cincinnati food staple, Graeter's Ice Cream is known for their large chocolate chunks that melt in your mouth. Joelle's favorite is their famous Black Raspberry Chip, while Isaac's favorite is the classic Chocolate.
