THE BEST FALL FOLIAGE! Take a 4 hour round trip drive (from Burlington) into the NEK for a real New England treat. Famous for its impressive fall foliage, NEK has lakes, ski resorts, hikes, and so much beauty. See lake Willoughby, hike Haystack Mountain, visit Burke Mountain for mountain biking, a ski lift ride, or scenic toll road drive to the top of the mountain.
Varying Villages
There are many adorable small towns all over Vermont. Vergennes, Johnson, Middlebury, Underhill, Jericho, St. Albans, and Waterbury to name a few within an hour of Burlington. We recommend driving to any of these cute little towns and wandering around. The drive will be beautiful too!
