FAQs

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Please view the Dress Code tab on our website for the attire, colors, and photos. We kindly request Western Formal attire for our wedding day. For women, dresses below the knee to floor-length are preferred. For men, suits are encouraged; dress pants with a button-down shirt and jacket are also welcome. Ties are optional. We kindly ask that guests wear neutral or earthy tones and refrain from wearing denim or jeans. As the ceremony will take place outdoors on rocky terrain, we recommend comfortable, stable footwear suitable for uneven ground.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Due to limited numbers, we hope you appreciate that children are only invited if named. Your invitation will be made out to “The {Your Last Name} Family” if your children have been invited and “Mr. & Mrs.” if only you and your significant other have been invited.

Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation. Your invitation will be made out to “{Your Name} & Guest” if a plus one has been given to you.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. Why? Well, we've hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments of our lives, and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone/device blocking that moment for her to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want! And we promise to share the ceremony photos as soon as we get them.

Question

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

Yes, please do! We love photos and videos and want to capture as many memories with our guests as possible. Feel free to take and share throughout the day, and please tag us @Jahnyha.Kofalk and @JoelMartens24 so we can see everything! We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony just be present with us in that moment.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, parking will be available on site. We encourage carpooling whenever possible to help make things easier for everyone.

Question

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 15th. If we do not receive your response by this date, we will unfortunately have to mark you as “not attending.” We would truly love to celebrate with you, but we must provide our vendors with a final headcount and cannot accommodate late RSVPs. Guests who do not RSVP by the deadline will not be able to be accommodated on the wedding day.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Although your presence is enough, we have created a wedding registry and honeymoon fund for those who would like to bless us with a gift as we begin this next chapter. Please see the registry tab at the top.

Question

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We’ll be serving a Mexican-style buffet featuring tacos with a variety of toppings. Because tacos are so customizable, there will be options to accommodate different dietary restrictions.

Question

What time should I arrive the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 3:30 PM. We kindly ask that you try to arrive at 2:30, as the drive up includes a windy road and a one-way dirt road, which may take around 15 minutes and can cause delays. Once you arrive, you will need time to park and take a shuttle to the ceremony location. Arriving early ensures you have enough time to get settled and find a seat before the ceremony begins. Our ceremony will take place outdoors and will begin promptly. Please note that if you arrive late, you may miss the shuttle and will not be able to access the ceremony.

Question

What are the addresses for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will both take place at the same location: 4900 Cazadero Hwy Cazadero, CA 95421 Please note the venue is located up a windy dirt road, but there will be signage throughout the drive to help guide you.
