Joel and I have actually known each other for a very long time but we were living our own lives. I was acquainted with Joel through his sister, Genesis, who’s also been like a sister to me 👭. She and I became inseparable starting our freshman year in high school, so I would see Joel occasionally but it was always hi and bye. I had a small crush on him for a little while when I first saw him !! Years passed and on March 14, 2020 I replied innocently to one of his posts on instagram and very little did we know that was where it was all going to start. We went from having a beautiful friendship to being unable to picture our lives without each other ♡ he’s the love of my life. Joel y yo nos conocemos desde hace mucho tiempo, pero estábamos viviendo nuestras propias vidas. Conocí a Joel a través de su hermana, Genesis, que también ha sido como una hermana para mí 👭. Ella y yo nos hicimos inseparables a partir de nuestro primer año en la escuela secundaria, así que veía a Joel de vez en cuando, pero siempre era hola y adiós. ¡Me atrajo durante un tiempo cuando lo vi por primera vez! Pasaron los años y el 14 de marzo de 2020 respondí inocentemente a una de sus publicaciones en Instagram y muy poco sabíamos que era donde iba a empezar todo. Pasamos de tener una hermosa amistad a no poder imaginar nuestras vidas el uno sin el otro ♡ él es el amor de mi vida.

Adela has always been an acquaintance of mine. One of my sisters closest friends. So I never imagined she and I would end up together. She reacted to one of my posts on social media. Unbeknownst to both of us, that would spark long conversations where we both discovered many similarities and interests. We would speak for hours on our hobbies, cultures that intrigued us, our goals in life. So much of who we were as people aligned with one another so well it felt natural, just as one breaths without thinking. In time our feelings grew and we did not give it a second thought. Jehovah has blessed the both of us just as James 1:17 says,"Every good gift and every perfect present is from above, coming down from the Father of the celestial lights…” Adela siempre ha sido una conocida mía. Una de las amigas más cercanas de mi hermana. Así que nunca pensé que terminaríamos juntos. Ella reaccionó a una de mis publicaciones en las redes sociales. Sin que ambos lo sepamos, eso provocaría largas conversaciones en las que ambos descubrimos muchas similitudes e intereses. Hablábamos durante horas sobre nuestros pasatiempos, culturas que nos intrigaban, nuestros objetivos en la vida. Tanto de lo que éramos como personas alineaba entre sí tan bien que se sentía natural, al igual que uno respira sin pensar. Con el tiempo, nuestros sentimientos crecieron y no lo pensamos dos veces. Jehová nos ha bendecido a los dos, tal como dice Santiago 1:17: "Todos los regalos buenos y todos los dones perfectos vienen de arriba, descienden del Padre de las luces celestes...."
