Matron of Honor
Liz is my best friend, sister, and adventure buddy! We met 5 years ago, when she and her husband Eli moved to Denver. We ran trails, hiked huge mountains, janitored at churches, and went on a 2 week out-west road trip with her 1 year old at the time. Since she moved, we still visit each other about 4 times a year! I also ended up becoming both of their children's godmother! We get mistaken for sisters all the time...which is fitting :)
Best Man
Mike is my brother and has been my longest and closest friend. We were roommates for 18 years, since I was a baby! He has been there for me through thick and thin and is such a role model to me of following Jesus! Mike has been a key person in my life who has helped me to fall deeper in love with the Lord and grow in my faith!
Bridesmaid
Christine and I met in Denver in 2018 and became instant friends! Her husband Chris and I are co-godparents to Francis, so I met Christine through Chris. We run or do Zumba once a week, processing through our lives together. Christine is the best party planner I know and is one of the most encouraging friends I have :)
Bridesmaid
Ruthie is my oldest friend in the wedding party-12 years strong! We were in Cameroon at the same time at Rainforest International school. We share many crazy adventures together from that year (canoeing with hippos, climbing Mt. Cam, hiking in rainforests, etc...). Ruthie is super intentional, honest, and one of the funniest people I know!
Bridesmaid
Jess was my roommate in college for 3 years and has remained a good friend since then! We have fond memories of staying up late in our dorm room talking about theology and art and boys. We've gotten to know each other's families over the years, which is a sign of lasting friendship. Jess is kind, introspective, creative, and a servant.
Bridesmaid
Marina is the oldest of Joe's sisters and has become a good friend! We met before Joe and I started dating, but have gotten closer since. She is one of the funniest people I know and is smart, creative, and an entrepreneur. She is a faithful sister, friend, and loves the Lord. She also helped Joe with his wardrobe when we started dating, convincing him to dress up a little bit more ;) I'm excited to have the sister I never had!
Bridesmaid
Ali is the second oldest Bianco sister and has also become a good friend! We met in January 2021 over Facetime because Ali almost lived with me! Probably a good thing it didn't work out since I started dating her brother 4 months later haha. But besides that, I would have loved to live with Ali. We connect over Broadway musicals, Alicia Keys, and praise and worship. Ali is compassionate, an advocate for the marginalized, and has such a kind soul. Al Pal is another sister I never had!
Bridesmaid
Genny is the youngest of the Biancos. Just like the other siblings, I also met Gen before I started dating Joe! We met at a coffee shop in the Bianco's hometown in Downington, PA in 2019 when I was meeting up with one of my Young Life girls. So crazy! I am so excited to have not just 2 sisters, but 3! Gen is a determined, organized, gentle and loving teacher in the Bronx. I love when she comes to visit Denver and we can bake together!
Bridesmaid
Aurelia is one of my Junior Bridesmaids and is like a little sister! She is the oldest sibling of the family I lived with when I first moved to Denver. Aurelia is a natural leader, smart, thoughtful, and the best gift giver. I got to be her Confirmation Sponsor last year! She is a great baker and hopes to open up Bernadette Bakery when she's older. I'm so excited to have her stand up besides me on my wedding day!
Bridesmaid
Lucia is the second oldest of the Choy kids, who I lived with for 2 years, and is also like a little sister! She is a creative, warm, compassionate fairy who loves day-dreaming, baking, and comforting her siblings. I have fond memories of baking with Lucia every Wednesday when I homeschooled the family. I am honored to be her Confirmation Sponsor and to have her stand up as one of my Junior Bridesmaids!
Groomsman
Benjy has been one of my most faithful and favorite friends! He is probably the person that can get me to laugh the most. I can talk about anything with him and he is always ready to pray for me during hard times! We have pictures of both of us with binkies in our mouths as children and have made so many great memories with each other as children and as adults. He always has my back and is my closest cousin!
Groomsman
Br. Mike is one of my oldest friends! Our friendship started in the 8th grade during our homeschool COOP St. Philomena’s along with going on a trip to Granite Lake in NH. We were friends throughout high-school, but the deepening of our friendship started with working for my Dad’s landscape company together. We would pray together and started our tradition with Matt J going on backpacking adventures together! I am so thankful for Br Mike’s witness to the faith and friendship!
Groomsman
Matt is another one of my oldest and most fun friends! We probably met playing soccer at some homeschool get together and really started our friendship up in NH at Granite Lake. Though we were friends in high school, our friendship really took off when we started landscaping together for my Dad’s company, rock climbing and finally starting our tradition of backpacking together with Br. Mike! Matt has been an extremely faithful friend through the years and always has my back no matter what.
Groomsman
I met Nick in college and though we were not good friends at the time, my friend Matt J would always talk about how awesome Nick was. After college we both ended up in Colorado and I was looking for a job and Nick hired me to help him at The Good Couch. We started to get to know each other at The Good Couch through work, hunting, fishing, sharing our faith and having awesome conversations. We have become close friends and he has been an amazing influence in my life helping me to become a more fun and holy man!
Groomsman
Nathan has very quickly become one of my best friends! We met working at The Good Couch and while delivering hundreds of couches over the months of working together we became very close praying rosaries together. We love having deep conversations and goofing off. Nathan has been a great influence in my life, helping me to be a saint.
Groomsman
I met Adam when I was a FOCUS Missionary at UNC in Greeley! Though we were friends while I was a missionary our friendship grew a lot closer when we both moved to Denver. We started climbing mountains together, spending a lot of time with each other, challenging each other to grow in holiness, and goofing around together a bunch. Adam is such a good man and one of my goofiest friends that I can laugh with.
Groomsman
I met Trevor during my time in FOCUS and then playing volleyball! Our friendship really began when we both moved to Denver and Adam, Trevor and I started climbing mountains together. Quickly Trevor and I started helping each other become better disciples of Jesus and we started a bible study with our small group at a retreat. Trevor has been one of my most consistent, adventurous, and special friends in Denver.
Groomsman
I met Joey in college when we lived in the same dorm building together. Quickly we bonded over both being very Italian and having a great love for Jason Evert’s books and speaking. After college we both moved to Denver and we have grown much closer through elk hunting, hiking, camping and checking in on the phone consistently. Joey has been someone who has really challenged me to be a better man and build virtue.
