Question

Are the wedding ceremony and the reception at the same venue?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held at the Grand Bohemian Hotel.

Will the ceremony or reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors. If there is inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved under a tent and cocktail hour will be moved indoors. The reception will be held indoors.

What time should we arrive at the wedding?

Answer

Please arrive at 3:30pm to be seated for the ceremony to begin promptly at 4:00pm.

Is there available parking?

Answer

The Grand Bohemian Hotel will provide the Group with Valet Parking at an overnight rate of $45.00 per day per automobile for overnight Group Guests. Attendees not staying overnight will be charged a fee of $25.00 Valet Parking fee per day. Parking rates are subject to change. Additional parking located at: 100 W Trade St (we recommend using SpotHero). There are also several parking garages in the area.

Do you recommend any hotels or places to stay?

Answer

Please see the "Travel" section for information on hotel blocks and the nearest airport! There are many hotels to choose from in Uptown Charlotte within walking distance of the venue.

Is there a dress code and what should I wear?

Answer

We are requesting guests to wear semi-formal attire. Think suit (tie optional) for men and elevated cocktail dresses for women. It's very similar to cocktail attire: a touch less dressy than a black-tie/formal wedding.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The average high temperatures are usually in the 70s (22-24 celsius) and sunny. The temperature can sometimes drop when the sun goes down, so we recommend bringing layers for the evening.

While we love kids, we have decided for this to be a fun weekend for the adults so that everyone can relax and enjoy the happy occasion. Please see your online RSVP for how many seats we have reserved for your party.

Can we take photos at the ceremony?

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos at the ceremony. We will have professional photographers there to capture our big day.
