Phil Consuegra

Coach/Best Man

Phil, known as Coach was Joe's AP Government and Politics teacher at the Pine Crest School in Fort Lauderdale, FL and is now best known for being Joe's golfing partner. Joe and Phil have played countless rounds of golf and this past summer went to Pebble Beach for the US Open where they happened to meet their lifelong hero Jim Nantz who also conned Phil into buying a $110 Jim Nantz Vineyard Vines polo that we still laugh about to this day. Joe tries to visit Phil and his wife Liz in California a few times a year where they often find themselves at many of the Southern California past times. Phil will serve as Joe's Best Man and the Officiant of our ceremony.

Tucker Burks

Groomsman

Tucker and Joe go back to the days of Pine Crest in Fort Lauderdale where he was introduced to Joe by way of his brother Jake. Tucker and Joe have been through it all, from a cheating mishap in Rebecca Kuhn's economics class to the US Open at Congressional, plane spotting at Dulles Airport and now life long friends who visit each other in their current cities. They are both usually texting about some kind of travel plan, whether its an airplane or a certain flight plan.

Jake Burks

Groomsman

Jake and Joe were introduced via Pine Crest Football. Jake served as the center on the offensive line and Joe served as the right guard. From countless double team blocks and Jake (aka Chives) chauffeuring Joe around all throughout high school the two have always remained close despite living across the country from each other and will have served in each others weddings.

Mark Lazenby

Groomsman

Mark and Joe crossed paths while at the University of Houston studying Sports Administration. While in one of Dr. RAT's many sports admin courses we happened to introduce ourselves to each other and the rest is history. From endless sporting events, Taco Cabana breakfast tacos, BBQ, and many rounds of golf. The two have remained in close contact with each other and will have served in each others weddings.

Tyler Little

Groomsman

Joe often used to think Tyler was insane for driving nearly two hours each way to University of Houston daily to pursue his sports administration degree. Tyler and Mark used to sit next to Joe in all of the sports admin classes and was often known as "that crew in the back" who usually would be watching golf or researching something other than schoolwork. Tyler and Joe made one of the poorest decisions in their lives by sitting in sub freezing temperatures in Waco to watch Mack Brown's last ever game at UT. From poor decisions to Tyler's mom making Joe her homemade four layer delight the two are always in close contact.

Michael McCosh

Groomsman

Michael is Maddie's younger brother. Joe and Michael have had the chance to get to know each other over the course of their relationship. Often sharing fantasy football tips and other sports gossip the two are usually together while over at Maddie's parents house. We are glad to have Michael standing with us on our wedding day. Joe looks forward to many round of golf with Michael as we will be officially family as that is part of the family fun.

Kaitlyn Jeannin

Matron of Honor

Kaitlyn and I met 10 years ago at Kansas State University where I first joined Sigma Kappa. She was my "mom" or "big sister" in the sorority. Through the years we have grown from friends to sisters. She and I have gone through a lot together from graduating college and starting our big girl lives to her and I both finding our happily ever afters. She has also made me an Aunt to baby boy Davis, our adorable ring bearer.

Hayley Keener

Maid of Honor

Hayley and I met in college at KSU, while in the same sorority we first bumped into each other getting ready for an 80's date party (gotta love that theme). We found out later how I had sat just a few rows behind her at every home K-State game for years...small world! Hayley always knows how to be positive and make me laugh! She has taught me how make a good gallery wall and edit pictures like a pro! She is my adventure buddy and her and I have visited 8 countries in the last 3 years with plans for many more!

Jamie Weiser

Bridesmaid

Jamie and I also met 10 years ago at KSU and we were in the same sorority! Jamie and I bonded over surviving Anatomy and Physiology class as well as making sure the stress of college never took over. She is my calm sounding board as well as one of the smartest people I know. Although her job has taken her way too far north, I will never stop trying to convince her to come back to KC.

Holly Wetzel

Bridesmaid

Holly has been my longest friend, her and I met in 5th grade so I believe that would make it 19 years! We have graduated both High School and College together, both went to KSU and were in the same sorority. We have both gone separate ways in life but always make sure and take the time to get together. When we do get together it is like we just saw each other yesterday. I always know what she is trying to say, even when she doesn't and she never fails to make me smile.

Heather McClure

Bridesmaid

Heather and I met at work about 4 years ago. Since then we have grown close through being able vent about our stressful job and love of all things Harry Potter. We love to visit holiday markets where I try to talk her out of buying all things beagle/basset hound and she tells me I have enough cardigans (it doesn't work).

Whitney McBryde

Bridesmaid

Whiney and I met at work where we were first weekend buddies (C weekend for life) and then fast friends. Her and I also share a love of Harry Potter, although we are in rival houses with me being a Ravenclaw and her a Hufflepuff. We never run out of things to talk and laugh about and that is always a good thing at 4 am when we are trying to stay awake at work!
