Kristi & Joe

Wedding Party

Kerri Borges

Maid of Honor

We've been sisters all of her life, and for 30 years of mine. We have a language and an understanding of one another that cannot be put into words, no matter how long I stare at this blinking cursor! It's an unspoken bond, recognizable by only the two of us sometimes. We fight together, we laugh together, we grow together, even share our names. I am so proud of the woman that she has become, and even more proud to call her my sister. Now, as I become a Kernen, there is no one I would rather have standing next to me than my little sister. She has been standing by me all of her life, and today, on one of the most important days of my life, she will be steadfastly standing by me once again.

Leslie Ann Braddy

Matron of Honor

It wasn't "best-friends at first sight", it wasn't even a "watered down aquaintance after months of mingling" kind of friendship. Rather, our friendship was forged slowly over time, as our life paths repeatedly convereged with one another over several year. We experienced life together, and eventually, it became impossible to tell where her life ended and mine began. It is truly a friendship bonded with respect, admiration and love. There are no two people more different than her and I, and that is what makes it so special. We challege each other, support each other, listen to each other and love each other. There is no better way to decribe our friendship then "It just works for us!"

Victoria Toth

Bridesmaid

College...it was quite a ride. An adventure filled, stressful, blur of a time. Few people I know still keep in touch with their best friends from college, and I'm blessed to be able to say that I do. She is one of my best friends and confidants. We don't speak everyday, or every week, or month (that's on me!), but she is always there, no matter how insignificantly small, or great the situation. Vicki was there throughout all of the best (and worse) times your early twenties have to offer. She has always been to me a shoulder to lean on, a strong arm to rely on, or even a swift kick in the pants when necessary. Her friendship has always been a constant in my life. I can't imagine standing up on my wedding day, with my groom across from me, and not having her standing by me.
