Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Joe Cimino and Kevin Maas
Where do we start!? Paris, the city of love. The city of Anne Hathaway learning who she really is in The Devil Wears Prada (spoiler alert: she was nothing like Miranda Priestly) There are endless possibilities for entertainment in Paris, but below are a few of our favorites!
Eiffel Tower

Eiffel Tower

5 Avenue Anatole France, Paris, IDF 75007, France

OK OK, we get it, it's soooo touristy. But, it's also jaw-dropping and if you're not afraid of heights then it's a mile-high ride to soar above the city of Paris. Any time of day is great to go visit. In total, you can probably expect to spend an hour there. Make sure to buy tickets in advance because trying to wait in line would be a nightmare. Oh là là !

Arc de Triomphe

Arc de Triomphe

Place Charles de Gaulle, Paris, IDF 75008, France

Incoming hot take: The best views of Paris are not from the Eiffel Tower! The best spot in the city to view the gorgeous city is actually from the Arc de Triomphe. From this vantage point you can see the entire city including the Eiffel Tower.

Sainte-Chapelle

Sainte-Chapelle

10 Boulevard du Palais, Paris, IDF 75001, France

This stunning church is located in central Paris and is very accessible from most locations in the city. Be sure to book tickets in advance as they are usually sold out weeks in advance! We recommend going in the morning when the morning sun is streaming through the stain glass windows!

Catch a Cabaret Show

Catch a Cabaret Show

This quintessential French art form was created in Paris! Shows include a variety of entertainment acts from large dance numbers to contortionist and illusionary acts! Feeling a little more cheeky? Check out the Crazy Horse for a more adult oriented show. Feeling a classic cabaret? Check out the Moulin Rouge! While it may go without saying, but shows do include nudity!

Explore Versailles

Explore Versailles

Versailles, IDF 78000, France

It's a picture of France at it's finest. Gold, glitz, glamour and god were all inspirations for the Kings who wanted to remain head, shoulders and crowns above the rest. You can book a tour through sites like airbnb and they include a shuttle ride to Versailles along with a guide to explain the ins and outs of this massive palace outside the city.

Tour Paris in a Vintage Car

Tour Paris in a Vintage Car

Maybe it seems extra, maybe it seems magical, but you should decide for yourself. This was one of our favorite unique experiences we've done in Paris. This is a great 1st day in Paris activity to get the lay of the land and enjoy the warm summer breeze on your face zipping through the streets of Paris.

Food Tour Paris

Food Tour Paris

10 Rue d'Arcole, Paris, IDF 75004, France

The food in Paris is unbeatable and vast - one way we love to explore a city is by a food or drink tour. We did a cheese and pastry tour once in Paris and then a beer and chocolate tour in Belgium. Check out this website for ideas or other sites like viator and airbnb for more options! Bon appétit !

Catacombs of Paris

Catacombs of Paris

1 Avenue du Colonel Henri Rol-Tanguy, Paris, IDF 75014, France

If you're really into secret places and scary history, then this is the site to explore. Buy your tickets in advance so you won't be waiting in line if you try and go spontaneously. The Paris Catacombs are a series of underground tunnels that house the remains of millions of bodies of Parisian from cemeteries that closed in the 18th century and after. Très cool and très spooky!

Check out the town of Chartres

Check out the town of Chartres

This small town situated just 15 minutes from Chateau Baronville actually has a UNESCO World Heritage site! The Cathedral in this town is an incredible sight to see, towering over this small town. There's plenty of shopping, pastries, and espressos to be had.
