FAQs

Question

COVID-19 Updates

Answer

Keeping our friends and family safe is a top priority. We encourage everyone to stay safe as we approach our big day! If you have not yet been vaccinated, please consider scheduling a test prior to the event. We also have a limited number of rapid test kits that you can pick up from us at no cost. We understand this adds an additional layer of complexity, but are offering this opportunity for the safety and comfort of everyone involved. The church where we will be having our ceremony will be live-streaming the service for our friends and family who are not able to join us in person! Please check out the link below at 3pm on Saturday April 10, 2021 https://youtu.be/FmXtfwhBtPs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The Ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00pm so please arrive 10-15 minutes early to account for parking and finding your seat.

Question

What will the ceremony be like?

Answer

We will be getting married in a Catholic Church, and participating in the wedding liturgy, where the bride and groom become husband and wife in the lifelong covenant of marriage (a sacrament for baptized Christians). If you have never been to a Catholic wedding ceremony before, our priest, lectors, and ushers will help to explain and guide all participants throughout the ceremony, so that it can be a beautiful experience for all.

Question

Is there parking for the Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

Ceremony: There is a large parking lot right next to the church. Parking spaces are available on a first-come-first-serve basis and will be able to accommodate all of our guests. Reception: The University Club has its own outdoor parking lot which you may use. Street parking is also available, but please make sure to check all signs to prevent ticketing and fines.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We've made the difficult decision to ask that children stay at home for the ceremony and reception. While not ideal, we hope you understand.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Yes, we have a block of rooms available at the Westin in Pasadena. It is conveniently located 1 block from our reception at the Pasadena University Club. You book with our group, please click the "travel" page above.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Come ready for a fun night out, looking your "semi-formal" best, and ready to celebrate like you've been cooped up at home for the last year!

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Yes! Please check out our "Registry" tab above.

Question

Will you have a Live-streaming feed available for guests who are not attending in-person?

Answer

The church where we are having our ceremony will be live-streaming the wedding ceremony at the link below. Please tune in at 3pm on Saturday April 10, 2021. https://youtu.be/FmXtfwhBtPs
