Moonlight Beach
Clarisa’s favorite childhood beach! It is very family-friendly, with plenty of parking and nearby restaurants and bars. For a young adult crowd, we recommend walking toward the D Street area.
La Jolla Cove
La Jolla Cove is one of our favorite spots! It has beautiful views and usually a few sea lions lounging around. It’s perfect for a relaxed walk and taking in the ocean.
Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve
A beautiful spot for hiking and taking in San Diego's natural scenery.
Coronado Island
Just across the bay from downtown San Diego, Coronado is a beautiful island with so much to explore. We recommend taking the ferry and spending time walking through the shops, restaurants, and along the beach.
Carlsbad State Beach
A laid-back beach with public volleyball nets set up throughout- perfect for a casual afternoon by the ocean.
Little Italy
If you’re looking for great food and a fun atmosphere, Little Italy is one of the best neighborhoods in Downtown San Diego. It’s full of amazing restaurants and charming streets with lights and decor.
San Diego Zoo
Widely considered one of the best zoos in the world- a must-see if you have the time!
