Although we met in college and had known each other since freshman year, it wasn't until senior year that our story really began. One night out with mutual friends, I realized I had forgotten my card while ordering a drink at the bar. Joe was standing nearby and offered to pay for my drink, saying that it was no trouble at all. We ended up talking at the bar for four hours, completely unaware that our friends had left to another spot nearby, only realizing when the bar lights turned on for closing time. We didn't know until that night how much we had in common. In the weeks that followed, we started running into each other everywhere. It wasn't long before Joe started studying in the same part of the library I had spent all of college in. What began as chance encounters quickly turned into a close friendship. We started dating our senior year, and it has led us here to a chapter of our lives that we are incredibly grateful for. God has been so good in preparing us for this next part of our lives, and we can't wait to celebrate with the people we love.
