I was the luckiest person in the world when Claire, 3 months old, was placed into my arms and I become her Mother. 18 years later she was off to Gustavus College and two years after that she was in the arms of Joe. But I am glad the story continues. Watching the two of you join together as one in marriage next fall will bring happiness and joy to all of us! I look so forward to having Joey be the son I never had. May God always walk beside you both, as you continue to grow in love, happiness, and faith during this wonderful journey of life together!

My name is Kendyl and I met Claire at Gustavus during our Freshman year. Ever since the day we met we have been such close friends! We spent time helping each other with homework, going on coffee dates at River Rock, and just being there when we needed someone. We also got involved with Habitat for Humanity. During our first trip to Tennessee, Claire and I bonded. Since that trip we have both have had an even greater passion for serving the world and to support one another through all of our adventures and our trials. I am so glad we became friends, and I don’t know what I would do without her. Claire has made my life so much better, and I am delighted to be a part of one of her most important days and seeing their reactions of each other for the first time on their wedding day!

I met Joe in elementary school, and Claire during orientation at Gustavus. Too many adventures to just pick one. Although first year Sohre dorms had a lot of fond memories. I am looking forward to standing next to my friends as they embark on their journey full of love and happiness.

I am one of the brothers of the Groom but also consider him one of my best friends. My favorite memory with Joe is always getting to play backyard sports with him growing up. But my favorite memory with the both of them is the first family vacation with Claire. I could just tell how much they loved and cared for each other, and it was a beautiful thing to see. On their wedding day I am most excited to be with family and to celebrate my brother getting to marry his best friend and soulmate.

Joe and I are brothers, so we met when I was around the age of 0. I met Claire at Gustavus when we were both at a Hunter Hayes concert! In high school, Joey (or is it Joe now?) and I were tennis partners for several years. During his senior year we made it to state playing doubles together. I'll never forget that. I'm looking forward to celebrating the wedding of two people I love!

I am Claire’s little sister Ava. I met Joe when they were graduating college. My favorite memory with them is when Joey first came up to Alaska to visit and see our beautiful home. I can’t wait to see both families come together to celebrate two of our favorite people join as one!

I got to know Claire through various organizations and activities while we were at school together at Gustavus. Our friendship has only grown since college. She is someone I can talk to about anything. Claire is also one of my favorite walking partners. :) I couldn't be more honored to be a part of Joe and Claire’s special day and can’t wait to watch them grow as a couple in the years to come.”

Claire and I met as Core Leaders for Life Teen for the church while she was attending college. She has become a "little sister" to me over the years. We have helped challenge each other in our faith journey and continue to strive for Jesus. I can't wait to see what God has in store for the two of you.
