Madz and Amanda first met the day Madeleine was born. Inseparable since, they are often mistaken for twins or “just” best friends. They share innumerable passions and hobbies, have countless adventures and memories between them, and having grown up doing everything together, they are now engaged at the same time AND their partners are very good friends too! It truly feels that they couldn't have dreamed it up better!
Charlie Malue

Joe met Charlie in Seattle, and the rest is history. From late-night shwarma runs to last-minute golf tournaments, they've shared enough adventures to fill a lifetime. Whether they’re cheering on the Cleveland Browns or pretending to be productive on a Sunday, Charlie’s always been the ride-or-die friend. He’s loyal, hilarious, and will have Joe's back when things get interesting. Joe wouldn't be here today without Charlie's friendship.
Mari Brown

Mari and Amanda have known each other since infancy! Cousins first, they have been classmates, teammates, travel buddies, and besties for 30+ years! Mari was the first to break the news to Amanda that unicorns weren't real (devastating), Santa wasn't real (Amanda did not believe her), and that a timeshare is not co-owning a home with friends (embarrassing because Amanda is the one with a job in the homeowning industry). She has ever been a font of knowledge and a person that Amanda deeply admires!
Yexson Amaya

Joe met Yexson(Jack) on the dance floor at Steel Creek, and they've been in step ever since. What started with two-stepping turned into half marathons, relay races, house painting projects, and some legendary birria taco runs. Jack’s the kind of friend who’s always up for a challenge, a laugh, or a spontaneous adventure. Whether they’re running miles or just running errands, Joe’s grateful to have Jack in his corner.
Meghan Carucci

Meghan and Amanda first met in 2012, living on the same floor freshman year. While living in Boston, Meghan often brought a very homesick Amanda to her home for long weekends! Meghan is also the person who successfully introduced coffee to Amanda. Despite both moving back to their hometowns, they speak with each other often and unsuccessfully try to convince each other to relocate. (PNW is best)
Kenny Hatzinikolis

Kenny is Joe’s older brother and lifelong mentor. Whether they’re talking life, work, or cologne, Kenny’s guidance has shaped Joe into the man he is today. They’ve bonded over countless memories, including two unforgettable Michael Bublé concerts. Kenny is a dedicated pharmacist with a huge heart, father of two lovely children and Joe is honored to have him by his side.
Allison Foguth
Bridesmaid
Allison and Amanda met in 2017 and immediately got on like a house on fire. They bonded over the same favorite gospel in their first meeting, participated in years of the silliest activities during youth group, and lived together for 2 years! Sadly in the later years of youth group, Allison and Amanda were overruled by the other leaders on the continuation of Messy Wars (pictured above).
Kevin Glowniak

Joe is upset with himself for not becoming friends with Kevin sooner. Both on the same submarine in the navy, Joe and Kevin bonded over a weekend in Canada, showing them our best Aussie chant all weekend long. Kevin now lives far away in California, but Joe still manages to get time to play Call of Duty with him and talk about how great at golf they are going to become.
Kelly Sadusky

Kelly and Amanda first met in 2014 via their acappella group, the S#arps. Since then, they have seen Taylor Swift 5 times, the Jonas Brothers 6 times, and many other artists and shows in multiple different states. Other than concert-going, their mutual interests include impulsive trips, In-N-Out, & walking 14+ miles in Disneyland. Kelly is also the only person Amanda texted when she thought Joe might be proposing!!! Joe Jonas girls unite!! 🧡
Matt Lesnick

Matt is another slugger from the submarine. Joe will always be grateful to Matt for allowing him to work out in his workspace. Also representing the USA in a friendly Canadian hockey match, Matt can lift the spirits of anyone in a room. Joe always appreciates Matt's charismatic enthusiasm and his passion for bourbon, but questions his deep love for Dr. Pepper.
Laura Santos

Laura and Amanda first met in 2007 at the Y volunteering at YMCA Day Camp together. When they were baby adults, they got jobs at that same summer camp together and after one week in the same unit, were swiftly separated (': Laura leads a GREAT camp song in a pinch & is one of Amanda's favorite ever coworkers but even better than that, Laura is just a really wonderful friend.
Matt Riddle

Joe and Matt go way back; they both grew up in Cheney, WA. They’ve been friends since middle school, surviving everything from school dances to questionable fashion choices and years of inside jokes that still don’t make sense to anyone else. Matt has seen Joe at his absolute best and worst. Through it all, he’s remained one of Joe’s most trusted friends.
Lucy Foguth

Lucy and Amanda first met in 2017. Amanda was 23 and Lucy was 1. They were roommates for 2 very fun years and have traveled multiple states and countries together! They share a patron saint, Lucia of Syracuse, and went to Sicily together to celebrate her feast day!
Donny Case

Donny is one of Joe's newest friends, but by no means lacks the depth of a true friend. Donny was in the same friend group when Joe and Amanda were still friends, and he has seen them grow together through these past couple of years. Even if Donny falls asleep at almost every one of their parties.
