FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP ASAP & no later than February 13th, 2022. This is due to the resort rooms, trip cost, & headcount cap. If you are not able to make the trip we more than understand. We will be holding a celebration of the wedding in Kentucky for the family & friends not able to travel to another country. We only ask you to let us know as soon as possible so that we can fill your spot with someone else who might be able to come. Thank you!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

We ask that while the ceremony is happening all cellphones be turned off & put away. We know that many of you, including us, will want to have many pictures to remember this amazing day. Our photography team will be handling this task for us. Please respect this request during the ceremony. During the cocktail hour & reception, cellphones are welcome!

Question

What's the best way to RSVP?

Answer

The best way to RSVP is through our website. We will be tracking our guests through this medium. Thank you!

What will your wedding-day timeline look like?

The ceremony begins at 5:00 & will last 30 minutes. A Cocktail hour will follow from 5:30-6:30 at the White Sands Martini Mix. From 6:30-9:30, we will have our reception in the White Sands Ballroom. At this time we will leave the reception area, & you are free to continue the party at the resort.

Question

I can't attend the wedding in person. Will there be a virtual wedding celebration?

Answer

We will not be holding a virtual wedding during the ceremony. However, if you are not able to make the trip to Jamaica we will be holding a reception in Kentucky as well.

Question

What health and safety measures will you be taking during the event?

Answer

All COVID-19 protocols set by the resort must be followed. We do not require guests to be vaccinated. All guests coming from America will need to provide their airline with proof of a negative COVID test. Proof of a negative test will need to be given to return to America as well. The resort will provide COVID testing. You can book this through the front desk.

Question

How will you communicate any updated information and/or changes before the wedding?

Answer

Any major changes to the wedding will be updated on the website. We will inform all RSVP'd guests individually of any large changes as well.
