We’re getting married!

The story of Joe-Lee & Alec is not a common one. Joe-Lee lived her whole life in Kingston, Jamaica. Alec grew up in Independence, Kentucky. Joe-Lee made the move to America in 2019 with only her mother by her side. The stars aligned when Joe-Lee put in her only application at Alec's place of work. Starting as co-workers, becoming best friends, & now spending the rest of their lives together. Although they come from very different backgrounds Joe-Lee & Alec share many loves. Joe-Lee loves to cook, & Alec loves to eat. Alec loves to watch movies, & Joe-Lee loves to fall asleep halfway through them. They take care of each other, support each other, & when it matters most they are always there for the other. Alec proposed in San Francisco, California on Baker's Beach behind the Golden Gate Bridge. Joe-Lee & Alec both love to travel, & when the opportunity came for both of them to visit San Francisco in October Alec knew "This was the moment". Alec planned for a romantic picnic on the beach with champagne, roses, & a hidden photographer. After 20 minutes of walking on the beach, with Joe-Lee convinced they were looking for a restaurant, they made it to the blanket. Alec got on one knee, asked the question, & after a lot of tears, Joe-Lee said "Yes!". We can't wait to celebrate with you in Jamaica at our wedding ceremony & reception in June!
