Best day!! Telluride, Colorado

How we Met

Never ask her to dance... just take her hand!

Friday January 3, 2020 We never thought that this would be our last night lonely. I was coming from coaching a volleyball scrimmage, and met up with My Friend DeeDee. We started at Tailfeathers and quickly realized we wanted more excitement so we went to Main Street Karaoke, in Brighton. I was not feeling well and really just wanted to go home, I am so glad we didn't. We sat down next to Glenn and his Friend Ryan. Glenn leaned over and said, "Were dancing!" I replied, "you're not going to ask?" He said, "nope" and took my hand. We danced to Tennessee Whisky- Chris Stapleton. This would be the first of many many many dances together. The rest of the night we talked, danced some more and I enjoyed watching him sing Karaoke.

Engagement

Merry Christmas, Telluride

This was the most magical trip, Glenn planned the perfect trip to telluride, Colorado. The night before we arrived, telluride received 4 feet of snow. We were landing in a magical snow globe. The Air B&B was perfect, with lots of stairs. Saturday Morning December 11, 2021, Glenn had arranged for a massage therapist to come to the house and give us all massages. He cooked breakfast and we all had a relaxing morning. We got ready and headed to ride the gondola to the top of the mountain. (I thought for sure Glenn would propose, I knew it was coming, I just didn't know when... I mean I waited 2 years for him to ask me) We rode the gondola back down, went to late lunch and back to the house. We were planning on going to the store for dinner, after we all warmed up a bit. Before we went to the store, we stopped the main square, to check out the beautiful snow-covered town tree. Jill and Mandy wanted some coffee, so Glenn and I went to find some. Later I found out it was all a diversion. We found drinks and came back to take some pictures in front of the tree. I was quiet and no one was around. just us in our perfect snow globe. This Christmas tree was made out of old snow skis. There was one ornament on the tree, that I missed. Glenn asked me if I saw it and what it said. I said, "it says Merry Christmas!" Glenn said, "You better look again." I stepped closer and my mouth dropped, the ornament actually said WILL YOU MARRY ME, as I turned in shock, Glenn was down on one knee. Will you marry me? YES!!!!!!!! The easiest decision of my life even if I had unzipped boots, make up not touched up and completely surprised. The rest of the weekend was a fairy tale. Lots of starring at my ring, delicious food, salt cave mediation, shopping, skiing and laughs! This was one of the best weekends with my forever best friend.
