What is the weather like?

Answer

Springtime in Linden, Virginia, can be unpredictable, but it’s generally mild. The mountain is typically 8- 10°F cooler than the rest of the town. We recommend dressing in layers to stay comfortable as temperatures shift from day to evening.

What should I wear?

Answer

We kindly request semi-formal for our wedding. The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, so please dress with the weather and terrain in mind. Our wedding colors are navy, blush, champagne, and eucalyptus green — feel free to wear any of these shades if you’d like, but it’s absolutely not required. We just want you to feel great and celebrate comfortably with us!

When should I arrive to for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is scheduled to begin promptly at 4:00 PM. We kindly ask that guests arrive no later than 3:45 PM to allow time to park, find a seat and settle in before the celebration begins. Please note: this will be an unplugged ceremony, so we ask that all phones and cameras be put away once you arrive and are settled.

Are children or plus ones allowed?

Answer

We love your little ones and your favorite people — but we’re keeping our celebration adults-only and by invitation only. We kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation attend. Thank you for understanding and helping us create an intimate and relaxed atmosphere!

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Absolutely! We’ll have ice-cold beer, seltzers and signature drinks ready to keep the party going. Come thirsty & ready to celebrate —but please drink responsibly. If you need to leave a car overnight, no worries—our venue allows overnight parking so you can get home safely and stress-free.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! We want all of our guests to feel comfortable and cared for. If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, please let us know when you RSVP or reach out to us directly—we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Is there a registry?

Answer

Your presence is the best gift, but if you would like to get us a gift, we have a small registry of items for our new home and have set up a honeymoon fund for our next adventure to Grenada.
