Our story begins like any great modern romance—with a swipe. On June 5, 2021, we met for our first date at La Hacienda in Milford, and what started as a casual meet-up quickly turned into the perfect mix of laughter, chemistry and the mutual realization that we might just be onto something amazing. Since September 18, 2021, we’ve been dating and exploring the world—turning every trip into an adventure. Whether we’re checking off more national parks, wandering through hidden breweries, or tucking into a cozy coffee shop, each moment has become part of our story. Together we’ve learned that the best journeys aren’t just about where you go, but who you’re with—and for us, every adventure is even better with each other (and a good brew or two) by our side. The Big Question Fast forward to October 19, 2024, Brandon set the bar pretty high for future surprises. He planned for months to make sure it was perfect. Those months leading up to that point all I could talk about were the “big trees” and how excited I was to experience them with him, not realizing that he was proposing in one of the most breath taking places on earth. It was perfect. Fun fact: The day after we got engaged, our rental car was broken into and the bag that he had been hiding my ring in was stolen. This was not on our expected bingo cards of being engaged for less than 24 hours, in case you were wondering. Now, we’re bringing the official celebration to the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains which is part of Shenandoah National Park! We can’t wait to eat, drink and dance the night away with our favorite people. So, get ready to unplug, laugh and party!

The day I bought Joclynn’s diamond, I came home and told the boys, “It’s official. We’re getting married”. That’s when a new house tradition was born, “Celebraaaate”. We decided it would be hilarious (and fitting) to celebrate our engagement without Joclynn knowing. That night, we were all hanging out and cheering with “celebraaate” to try it out. Joclynn asked, “What exactly are we celebrating?” since it was just another normal day for her. Without missing a beat, we told her, “We’re just celebrating, you know… celebrate.” Given it was us guys, she shrugged, rolled with it, and joined in the fun not knowing she was also celebrating us getting engaged in just a few months. From then on, this became our thing. Every so often, we toast and say “Celebraaate!” to mark an occasion, accomplishment, or just because we are thankful to be with some of our favorite people. So now, if you hear any of us say “Celebraaate!” at the wedding, just know it’s your cue to grab a drink and join in! We can’t wait to “Celebraaaate” with you.
