Marilyn and I met in summer camp when we were 5 and didn't hit it off.... 9 years later in 9th grade I moved to Beachwood and guess who was there to greet me with open arms? We've been best friends ever since! She is nice and open to almost everyone she meets and can strike up a conversation with just about anyone around her. I'm glad I went through all my high school shenanigans with her. Marilyn is currently a junior at Virginia State University majoring in psychology.

Stacy has been a best friend to me ever since we met. The young man who took the time to disciple me in the faith and love me like a brother! Stacy and I were college football teammates and he constantly challenged me to grow as an individual. He's inspired me to truly "enjoy the journey". Stacy would be willing to do anything for me.

She rides for the people she loves and I love her unique sense of humor and confident attitude. 500 miles apart (college) and we couldn't be closer. Shaneice is currently a student athlete playing volleyball in her junior year at Tennessee Technological University, majoring in physical therapy.

This brother is solid all around. We linked and competed on the field in college but off the field we both made each other better. I appreciate his honesty, his integrity, and most of all his loyalty. "Go forth and be blessed" runs through my mind when this young man of God is brought up. 1 of 4 of The Fab Four Group! Tamarea and I met in 10th grade when she joined the then "Sexy Seven" friend group. Tamarea and I have had a lot of good adventures and memories together. She is the funniest person without trying and I'm so glad we have remained so tight over the years. Tamarea is currently furthering her education at Howard University in Washington DC.

Maria and I met working at a summer camp together. We instantly bonded and became close friends very quickly. Even when I moved 18 hours away she stayed in contact with me very often. We are a lot alike in a lot of ways(shopping). And we just click and get each other. I'm so glad to have her in my life and as a bridesmaid!

Zan and I also met when in camp when we were around 5 years old. I moved to Beachwood and we really didn't reconnect until we went to New York together on a orchestra trip. I was going to the bathroom in a restaurant in New York when I came and saw Zan laughing hysterically. I thought that she was weird but then when she told me to look inside the toilet I saw what was so funny. We then started laughing together and to this day we haven't stopped laughing together. I have my best laughs with Zan and we always have a great time when we're together. She's easily one of the kindest person I know and will connect with anyone! I'm so glad to call her one of my best friends.

Lauren and I have been lifelong best friends thanks to our mothers (also best friends) I've known her since she was born. She has such a kind heart and spirit. I remember getting so excited when I was younger whenever we got to play together and crying whenever one of us left. The countless Halloweens and 4th of July's spent with her. I have truly enjoyed watching her grow up over the years into the mature smart person that she is today. Lauren is currently a senior at Mayfield High School.

Sierra and I first met when she moved two houses away when she was 4 years old. We then began riding the bus together everyday to school along with my sister, Whitney. Our families became very close over the years. We even have a combined name of Sila-phants. Sierra is a great dancer and artist, she's bubbly, warm and kind. I have great memories with her and her whole family. Sierra is currently furthering her education at Tuskegee University in Alabama, majoring in Visual Arts.
