🚗 Getting Around
**Use Uber — ALWAYS.** Ubers in Puerto Vallarta are cheap, safe, and reliable. Download the app before you arrive. ⚠️ **Do NOT take taxis.** Unfortunately, taxi scams are very common in tourist areas. Stick to Uber for all transportation. 🛬 Arriving at the Airport The airport only allows taxis inside — do **not** try to order an Uber to the terminal or you will run into trouble. Here's what to do instead: 1. Exit the terminal and **ignore anyone approaching you** offering taxis or Ubers — these are hustlers and you will be overcharged. 2. Take the **4-minute walk across the street bridge** to the sidewalk outside. 3. From there, open your Uber app and request your ride normally. 4. Follow **only** the directions in your Uber app — do not engage with anyone on the street.
