Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress to impress in your best formal or cocktail attire. Please no jeans/denim. Ladies, please avoid wearing white or any neutral shades such as golds, creams, or beiges as these are reserved for the bridal party. The ceremony will be held outside, but the reception and cocktail hour will be held inside with air conditioning.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We are hoping for an outdoor ceremony if the weather is right. It is typically pretty warm and humid in Tennessee this time of the year. There is a mixture of gravel and concrete. The remainder of the day will take place indoors with outdoor areas available to get some fresh air if needed.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer and videographer to be able to capture the best pictures which we will share with you. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like and don't forget to share them with us!

Question

Are you having a welcome party?

Answer

We’ll be kicking off the weekend with a rehearsal dinner for our immediate families and wedding party, followed by a casual welcome party open to all guests. After dinner, we’d love for everyone to join us for a relaxed evening of drinks, dancing, and great conversation at The Diving Mouse. It’s the perfect chance to say hi, catch up, and ease into the festivities. Come as you are! If you are to attend the Rehearsal Dinner, you will see the option to accept or decline when you RSVP.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Invitations will be specific and will include names of the children who are invited. For those of you that are bringing children, please be sure to watch them closely.

Question

What can I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "Not Attending" so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

YES! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you... get ready to party!!! If you are not taking a shuttle back to the hotels, please arrange transportation from the venue if you plan on drinking.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive AT LEAST 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to find parking and your seat. Once the ceremony begins, entrance will not be granted until the ceremony is complete.
