Joaquin and I (Jasmine) first met a few years ago at a wedding. We danced all night. Fast forward a couple of years, and we found ourselves at another wedding (funny, we know). This time, I knew Joaquin would be there, and I couldn’t wait to see him again. With a little help from our friends—and a lot of dancing—we picked up right where we left off. From that night on, we were inseparable. What started as weekends together quickly turned into almost every day, then moving in together, and before we knew it, getting married through the civil court. Even then, we knew our story wasn’t complete without celebrating our marriage in the Catholic Church. Faith has always been an important part of our relationship, and we’ve put so much love, thought, and prayer into making this day possible. We are beyond excited to finally celebrate with all of you and share this special moment together.

Joaquin y yo (Jasmine) nos conocimos hace algunos años en una boda. Bailamos toda la noche. Un par de años después, nos encontramos nuevamente en otra boda (curioso, lo sabemos). Esta vez, yo sabía que Joaquin estaría ahí y no podía esperar para verlo de nuevo. Con un poco de ayuda de nuestros amigos —y mucho baile— retomamos exactamente donde lo habíamos dejado. Desde esa noche, fuimos inseparables. Lo que comenzó como fines de semana juntos pronto se convirtió en vernos casi todos los días, luego mudarnos juntos y, antes de darnos cuenta, casarnos por lo civil. Aun así, sabíamos que nuestra historia no estaría completa sin celebrar nuestro matrimonio en la Iglesia Católica. La fe siempre ha sido una parte importante de nuestra relación, y hemos puesto mucho amor, dedicación y oración para hacer posible este día. Estamos más que emocionados de finalmente celebrarlo con todos ustedes y compartir este momento tan especial juntos.
