Welcome cocktail party for our beloved family and friends! Tapas and drinks will be served at a magical restaurant called Boom Boom Ciao in Joaquin and Erica's favorite neighborhood - Malasaña. All guests can enjoy two Welcome Cocktails from 8-9pm followed by open bar from 9-11pm. Tapas will be served from 8:30-10:30pm. 🦋 The restaurant was inspired by the Giannini - a family of nomadic, Italian gypsies traveling the world and guided by butterflies as stars to never lose their way🦋. Butterflies are meaningful to the wedding couple as they are a symbolic reminder of Erica's late aunt, Irene, who passed in December of 2023. Irene will be forever remembered as a colorful, vibrant, butterfly.

Real Madrid v Mallorca

Joaquin & Erica strongly encourage wedding guests to get some sightseeing in on Saturday - we welcome you to review the recommendations provided in Things To Do. The couple will be attending the Real Madrid v Mallorca game - currently scheduled for 9:30pm kickoff at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. The majority of the event tickets will be available for purchase 10 days prior to the game (8/20). Joaquin & Erica will be seated in Section 626. Pregame plans: a standing area has been reserved from 6:30-8pm at the Irish Rover - a sports pub down the block from the stadium.

The main event! Lemonade and water will be served with the wedding ceremony starting promptly at 5pm. Cocktail hour will be at 6pm followed by dinner at 7:30pm. Please advise of any food allergies or preference for a vegetarian dinner (fish and meat will be served). At 10pm, La Fiesta will commence in the party hall. We look forward to celebrating with you all.
