Just a short drive (~30–40 min), Zakopane is the cultural mountain capital — perfect for one big day trip: Stroll Krupówki Street full of shops & restaurants Visit mountain markets, museums, and cafés Try local highland food and specialties like oscypek (smoked sheep cheese). Day Trip (or more) to Krakow!

Day Trip (or more) to Krakow!

Krakow is one of Asia and Christian's favorite cities in Poland. There is soo much to do, but here a couple ideas -- Rynek Główny (Main Market Square) One of the largest medieval squares in Europe — always lively with street performers, markets, cafés, and historic architecture. I recommend getting Gofry (waffles), Kebaba, Zapiekanki (pizza baguette), Paczki (donuts). This city is just too perfect. Wawel Castle Poland’s historic royal seat with beautiful courtyards, museums, and gorgeous views over the Wisla River. One of Asia's favorite facts to say to people that never ask -- Did you know no building in Krakow can be taller than the Wawel castle? :) Kraków has free concerts, jazz festivals, open-air markets, and cultural events — especially in July and August.
