Twas a chilly but clear morning in Aljezur, Portugal on September 21, 2025. Christian woke Asia up at 5:45 am to go do some sunrise yoga on the yoga deck overlooking the beautiful country of Portugal. She got up, wore her pink hoodie, a pair of baggy jeans to keep warm and they headed out on a hike to the yoga deck of their airbnb. The path to the yoga deck involved some charmingly uneven, windy stone steps. Whilst still half asleep, Asia tripped and almost rolled her ankle. Thats when she finally woke up. After a minute of pain and an adrenaline spike, the couple continued on, walking through bushes and trees and Asia felt a web on her. Christian turned on his flashlight revealing a big black spider crawling on Asia's bright pink hoodie. Cue absolute chaos. Then the spider disappeared. Which somehow felt worse. Asia started taking off all her clothes in a panic to make sure the spider didn't crawl under her hoodie. After another adrenaline spike, they carried on. Eventually, they made it to the yoga deck overlooking the stunning landscape of Portugal. The sky began to turn soft shades of pink and gold. The world felt quiet and calm again. They did some yoga. They talked. And Christian finally popped the question. And just like that, what started as a slightly chaotic sunrise adventure turned into the beginning of forever. Asia was absolutely over the moon, happy as a clam.
