Transportation and Lodging

Renting a car is not recommended due to high overnight parking fees (typically $50+ per night). The French Quarter is very walkable, but please note that its cobblestone streets and uneven sidewalks are not wheelchair friendly. If you plan to explore beyond the French Quarter, rideshare services like Uber and the city’s streetcar lines are convenient and affordable options. Listed below are a few choices to stay in the French Quarter, but the area includes many different places to stay. You can always ask the bride for additional suggestions.
