Surrounded by Aspens and wide open spaces, enjoy a breathtaking western style ride in what better place, then Colorado! Make a day adventure out of it and go to Four Eagle Ranch not too far from Beaver Creek. Beaver Creek Stables has some of the best rides in the Vail Valley- and is super close! So close, you can even take a picturesque ride to have dinner at the infamous Beano's Cabin on Beaver Creek Mountain

Soar High in a Gondola Ride

Explore the famous Vail Villages and take a scenic Gondola ride to lay your eyes on some of the historic mountain peaks of Colorado!

Hot Air Balloon Ride

Hiking in the Rockies

Beaver Creek Mountain: Grab a trail map at the base area ticket booths (located inside Beaver Creek sports at the Ritz-Carlton and Centennial Lift at Beaver Creek) and explore Beaver Creek Mountain. Beaver Lake Hike 5 miles round trip ~3 hours hiking time A more strenuous hike, but a local's favorite! The trailhead is located south from the shuttle stop along Village Road to Elk Track Road, along the 5 senses trail (remember to bring your trail map). Vail Mountain: With trails starting from the base areas as well as the top of Gondola One and Eagle Bahn Gondola (#19), you can't go wrong. You can even take the gondola up and hike around from there.

Scenic Drives

A few scenic drives: Glenwood Canyon (~ 2 hours drive time) The canyon sits on the western slope of the Rocky Mountains, and is reminiscent of Ansel Adams photographs. The drive is spectacular with picnic areas, a recreation path following the Colorado river and a prize at the end… the Glenwood Hot Springs (don’t forget your bathing suit!). From Avon, take I-70 W toward Eagle Exit #117 at Glenwood Springs, 50 miles The “Leadville Loop” (~ 3 hours drive time) A designated scenic drive through three mountain passes and quaint Colorado towns. From Avon, take R on I-70 E toward Vail, 5 miles Exit #171, US 24 East toward Minturn/Leadville, 32 miles L on CO-91 North toward Copper Mountain, 22 miles L on I-70 W toward Vail, 19 miles
