Beaver Creek is BEAUTIFUL, we just LOVE IT! Clearly. Weather Before your trip, we recommend checking the weather forecast for Avon, Colorado. Colorado has more than 300 days of sunshine each year, we are hopeful for a beautiful, sunny wedding weekend, but the weather is often unpredictable and can quickly change in the mountains. The temperature during the day may reach up to 80 degrees or even warmer, but nights on the mountain can get quite chilly (40-50 degrees). At 10,000 feet, the top of Beaver Creek mountain, exposure to the sun is 40% greater than it is at sea level. So grab your sunscreen! High Altitude Beaver Creek is more than 8,000 feet above sea level; some helpful tips: drink a lot of water during the day and alternate alcoholic drinks with water! If you choose to stay at another hotel within the property of Beaver Creek Resort, there is a free Dial-A-Ride Shuttle (Village Connect App). You can download this app and request a free ride anywhere in Beaver Creek. If you choose to stay in either Avon or Edwards, High Mountain taxi is a great option!
Yes! The wedding is located on "skier bridge" outside, followed by Cocktails on the Mountainside terrace, and then dinner and dancing in the grand ballroom!
Colorado is home to western vibes and good burgers. We will be celebrating in typical Colorado western style; so try and take it up a notch and outdress us. There will be a prize for the best- dressed; so grab those chambray shirts, big belt buckles, and bolo ties and meet us on the Grand Lawn at the Park Hyatt in Beaver Creek. Sadly, no horses. We tried.
While we love all your little munchkins, the star of the show will just be JJ's only niece, Julia Grace Kfoury. While we won't be hosting all our favorite little tater tots at the wedding, we would love seeing them throughout the week/long weekend if you choose to make a family vacation out of this!
