Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately, no, unless they are a part of the Wedding Party. Due to size limitations, we decided to have a more intimate "adult only" event. Thank you for your understanding.

Do the Bride & Groom have a Wedding Registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift we could receive. We have intentionally kept our registry small, but for those who would like to give a gift, we have included a few things on our Zola (Jeni has an Amazon list for the Bridal Shower). We have also created a Honeymoon Fund for anyone who would like to help us make lasting memories as newlyweds. Most of all, we are simply grateful to celebrate this special day with the people we love.

I am unable to attend the wedding, how can I still be a part of things?!

Answer

If you’re unable to join us in person, please know you’ll still be part of our day! We completely understand that travel and other commitments can make attending difficult. We will be sharing a private Facebook livestream so you can celebrate with us from wherever you are!

What is the expected dress code?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable and enjoy celebrating with us! Our wedding will have a cozy, country-chic feel, with both indoor and outdoor spaces. September in North Idaho can bring anything from warm sunshine to crisp evening temperatures, so we recommend dressing in layers and planning for changing weather. The bridal party will be embracing the rustic vibe with cowboy boots, the gentlemen in dress shirts and nice jeans, and the ladies pairing their dresses with jean jackets. Feel free to join us in celebrating our country-inspired style, but most importantly, wear something that makes you feel comfortable, confident, and ready to have a great time!

Where is everyone staying?

Answer

It truly depends on the length of your stay. The bride and groom will be staying at their home leading up to the weekend, with a few family and wedding party members, and then staying at the Dover Bay Resort Friday-Sunday. Other friends and family are staying locally (Dover/Sandpoint), RV camping, or with other local family. Please check out the Hotel page for further ideas!

Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes! Once you arrive, you can settle in and enjoy the entire celebration with us. We'll exchange our vows outdoors on the side lawn, gather for an indoor/outdoor social hour, and then head upstairs into the barn for dinner, and a night of making memories together.

What will the food options be?

Answer

Upscale BBQ! Smokin' Glory is catering and will be serving BBQ chicken, smoked Tri-tip, loaded potato salad, roasted seasonal veggies, a garden salad with either ranch or balsamic, and a soft french roll with a side of butter. All their foods and sauces are house made, with GF/DF options too!

Are the Bride and Groom leaving for their Honeymoon right away?

Answer

No, we decided to push it out. Plus that leaves some extra time to spend with loved ones from out of town. :)
