0.5 miles from the wedding venue, Adams Canyon Trail in Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest is a scenic trail along the North Fork of Holmes Creek. The 3.5 mile round trip takes you to the 40-foot Adams Waterfall. The trail is one of the most popular hikes in Davis County. The beginning of the route consists of steep switchbacks and plateaus as you work your way into the canyon past the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. This trailhead also leads to a closer, smaller waterfall. Round trip for the small falls is 1 mile. Parking is available at the Adams Canyon Trailhead off North Eastside Drive just outside of Layton.
With over 70 aircraft on display, and thousands of historical Air Force artifacts, Hill Aerospace Museum offers an incredible opportunity for discovery and excitement for the whole family! Founded in 1981, the museum is part of the United States Air Force Heritage Program and is supported by the Aerospace Heritage Foundation of Utah. Whether it’s seeing the first aircraft ever manufactured, the lumbering B-17, the speed-demon SR-71 or the one-and-only F-117 Stealth Fighter, Hill is a perfect location to unlock your inner child. With free admission for visitors, Hill Aerospace Museum is a great destination all year long.
Union Station preserves the history of Utah railroading, the history of Ogden, and the cultural heritage and legacy of everyone who has come through or lived in Ogden. In 1988, Union Station was designated as the Utah State Railroad Museum. Today, it holds this museum, as well as the Browning Firearms Museum, the Browning-Kimball Car Museum, and two art galleries. The museum’s collection contains around 50,000 objects, including photographs, prints, costumes, paintings, sculpture, railroad ephemera, and more.
There are plenty of paths that you can take when starting from the 22nd Street Trailhead in Ogden, but one of our favorites is the Indian Trail. The Indian Trail loosely traces the old Shoshoni Indian path used in ancient times to get out of Ogden Canyon and onto the Salt Lake Plain. The trail is heavily forested and, even though you are close to Ogden, has a wilderness feel to it. The trail is well maintained and cool even in the summer. This is a moderate/hard hike. We prefer to go 2.5 miles up to a small hut along the trail before coming back down. If you want to do the entire trail, you will end up covering 8.4 miles and 2650ft of elevation gain.

Park City lies east of Salt Lake City in the western state of Utah. Framed by the craggy Wasatch Range, it’s bordered by the Deer Valley Resort and the huge Park City Mountain Resort, both known for their ski slopes. Utah Olympic Park, to the north, hosted the 2002 Winter Olympics and is now predominantly a training facility. In town, Main Street is lined with buildings built during a 19th-century silver mining boom.
