It all began in 2014, in Government class at Chancellor High School. Jiselle was the new girl, and Carlos was “Mr. Popular” with the outgoing personality who quickly made her feel welcomed to the new school. From that moment on, they jokingly called each other “best friends”… little did they know what was ahead. After graduation, fate brought them back together at a foam party during beach week in Myrtle Beach. Fast forward to 2016, Jiselle decided to make the first move, and the rest is history. They went on their first date on June 5, 2016. Funny enough the date started off with a special guest third wheeling, Jiselle’s baby sister Lydia, who was just 9 months old. After dropping Lydia off, they went to see The Ninja Turtles and grabbed dinner at Fuddruckers. It’s now a running joke between them that Carlos made Jiselle pay for half the date as he claims it was a “loyalty test.” From that night on, they were inseparable. Just two and a half months into dating, Jiselle moved in with Carlos. A year later, they eloped ♡ just the two of them and the officiant, making a quiet but everlasting commitment to one another. Now, exactly ten years from their first date, they’re renewing their vows and celebrating their marriage through the eyes of God ♡ We invite you to join us in a formal, sacramental celebration of the love and life we’ve already begun.
