Nicole was born and raised in Minnesota. She then went to college in South Dakota for a year before making the decision to move to Texas in 2013. Due to this and her parents upbringing, many of her guests are from places other than Texas. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. Nicole then attended Western Governor's University where she obtained a Master of Business Administration degree. Steven was her biggest support while she finished her MBA. Nicole has worked at Charles Schwab (formerly TD Ameritrade) for 6 years now and is currently a fraud financial analyst. In Spring 2021, Nicole had a new construction house built in Fort Worth, TX which is where the couple will reside once married.

Jazmine is Nicole's cousin. (Yes we know - but how?! They look nothing alike. Nicole's aunt married a Native American gentleman.) The two are 7 months apart in age and have always been very close. While Nicole never wanted to get a tattoo, Jazmine had spent years trying to convince Nicole to get a matching tattoo with her. Over Nicole's 23rd birthday is when they finally got matching tattoos. She is joining us from Wisconsin.

John Michael is Steven's younger brother. He resides in Texas.

Madeline, also known as Maddie, has been best friends with Nicole since 2007. The two met at church camp, where they shared a bunk bed. Maddie had severe allergies during that week and she would shake the entire bunk bed every time she sneezed, as she was on the top bunk. Nicole would make jokes about Maddie making her bed shake all night and they instantly became best friends. After church camp, they later discovered they only lived 5 miles away from each other so they would be able to easily continue their friendship. Then a couple years later, they were in cheerleading together as their two small schools were combined for sports. Maddie is joining us from Minnesota.

Ashley was Nicole's roommate from 2018-2020. The two did not know each other prior to becoming roommates, however they quickly bonded once they were living together. They've spent countless hours on the couch binge watching various shows, as well as, have gone on a couple cruises together due to their love of traveling. Ashley resides in Texas.

Katie is Nicole's sister-in-law. Nicole has always wanted a sister and was finally given that opportunity in 2016 when Katie married Chris. She is joining us from North Dakota.

Chris is Nicole's older brother, and only sibling. He resides in North Dakota with his wife, Katie, and all of their cattle.

Ariella is the daughter of Jazmine King. Nicole has always made the claim that Ariella is our Mean Girls baby as she was born on October 3rd. Being her 6th birthday is the day after the wedding, we will be briefly celebrating with her during the reception. She is joining us from Wisconsin.

Leilonnie is the daughter of Jazmine King. She is named after Reverend Lonnie Johnson, her great-grandfather. She will be 3 at the time of the wedding. Leilonnie resides in Wisconsin.

Kari is a close friend to Nicole. The two met in 2010, when they ended up being on the same cheerleading squad. Their schools were combined for sports, so this was the first time they had met. (Kari and Maddie went to the same school together; however they are two grades apart.) Nicole has always loved all things that sparkle, so for cheerleading she was always covered in glitter. Kari has always been very anti glitter, which got Nicole's attention so she would always try to put some glitter on Kari. Throughout this, Nicole also realized Kari did not appreciate hugs, so Nicole would chase Kari just to give her a hug. Very odd start to our friendship, but it's safe to say that Nicole finally grew on Kari. Kari is joining us from Minnesota.

Reverend Lonnie Johnson

Reverend Lonnie Johnson is the maternal grandfather of Nicole. With 60 years of experience, he currently pastors Oneida Assembly of God, located near Green Bay, Wisconsin. He is also the grandfather of Matron of Honor, Jazmine King, making him the great-grandfather of both flower girls as well.
