Yes, we are planning as much as possible! We did cut the wedding guest list due to COVID-19 guidelines. We will continue to monitor COVID-19 guidelines, especially in Virginia. We will update everyone if there are any changes.
NO! Of course we want to spend this special day with everyone who we are able to invite, but health, safety and comfortability comes first. If you do not feel comfortable coming, it's okay! All we ask is that you RSVP asap so that we do not include you in the final headcount and costs.
We recommend guests traveling out of state to drive, unless you are coming from an area that requires you to fly. We also recommend lodging with the guests you are traveling with - there are lots of airbnb options in the area. Please make sure any rental car or lodging booked has a 24-48 hours cancellation policy in case wedding plans change.
We are heavily advising that all guests refer to CDC guidelines and safety precautions. We are asking all guests to: Quarantine/do low risks activities 2 weeks leading up to our wedding Take a COVID test if you can If you are feeling sick days leading up to the wedding, please do not come. We will not feel any type of way at all, everyone's safety and health are more important. Visit this website to view CDC guidelines: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html
In the event of COVID-19 becoming worse, we will plan to get married with immediate family members only. We will push back the venue to host a reception at a later date to celebrate with everyone else. We will update all guests in case plan B comes into effect.
