Kara and I have not only been sisters for the past 18 years of her, but we have also been partners in crime and the best of friends. We grew up as each others classmates since we were homeschooled, as teammates in gymnastics as she was definitely just as good if not better than me, and as the co-parents to our six brothers! Kara is also an amazing listener, a loyal friend, has a beautiful smile and cares so much about every single person in her life. Love you tons Kara<3
Christian Lawrence

Christian met Sean nearly six years ago in a little youth group bible study, and since then have been best mates and witnesses to countless embarrassing moments as they've fumbled through life together. From late nights as roommates solving life's biggest questions (how loud can we sing Africa by Toto before the RA knocks on our door?) to hours spent around various board games Christian had no hopes of winning, it's been a wild ride. Christian describes Sean as the most loyal, loving, and kindhearted man, and the brother who helped lead Christian to Christ. Christian is honored not only to spend the next two years witnessing and discipling alongside, but also to be his best man, standing beside Sean and Sara as they get married.
Grace Tully

Gracie is a bundle of energy, a joy to be around, and is one of the craziest, yet at the same time sweetest people Sara knows. She is also Sara's little sister and lifelong best friend who has finally become faster and stronger than her, and always seems to subtly remind her of those things! Sara used to be the one who Grace would always try to be like and would always want to twin with, but now it seems Sara is the one always looking through her closet! Oh how the tables have turned! Oliver Jim

Oliver is Sean's older brother. Growing up, Sean looked up to Oliver and loved hanging out with him, playing basketball, legos, and video games. These days, Sean and Oliver bond playing heavy board games or disc golf.
Erin Zurbrugg

Erin is Sara's bestie, a bundle of energy, and is wise beyond her years. She has 3 dogs, 2 cats, and 24 goats (with more on the way!) They just happened to be assigned as random roommates their sophomore year at Oregon State and have been inseparable ever since. Together, Sara and Erin have emerged victorious from a college prank war, traveled overseas on a missions trip to Haiti, and struggled through college until they finally graduated! Love you Erin<3
Ryan Schultz

Sean met Ryan during their first year at Oregon State University through The Navigators ministry. They quickly became friends and began meeting up to play card and board games most nights of the week with other friends. Sean moved in with Ryan for their sophomore year and both joined the leadership team with The Navigators. Last summer, Sean would stand with Ryan at his wedding, and now Ryan gets to return the honor. Even now, they continue to bond over their love for the Lord, theology, frisbee and board games.
Kelsi Vandehey

Kelsi is an absolute gem who has a very sweet and caring soul. Kelsi and Sara got to know each other through a Navigators Bible study two years ago and found out that they both totally adore Pinterest, late-night deep conversations, iced caramel lattes with almond milk, and chick flicks! This past crazy, chaotic year was much more enjoyable for them, living as roomates! Love you Kelsi<3
Jonah Paivarinta

Jonah is a college student at PCC. He met Sean during a Bible Study Fellowship in grade school, but reconnected in high school when Sean's family started attending Hinson Baptist Church in 2015. Youth group was an interesting period of time, as Jonah realized that despite Sean's charisma, he wasn't very funny. As such, his vocabulary is still filled with Sean's absurd jokes. In all other ways, Jonah describes himself as a hipster.
Gabi Kay Griffin

Gabriela Kay Griffin and Sara met over ten years ago now when she joined the gymnastics team at Westside. They became besties real fast as they bonded over trying new skills and falling on their faces! Gabi has an adventurous streak a mile long, and they have had a couple of close calls where they've almost got lost on hikes, but have always found and way back in the end, along with tons of fun while at the same time. Sara was thrilled when Gabi decided to go to Oregon State as well, and has loved trying out OSU's gymnastics club with her, as well as going rock climbing, running, and trying their best to cook together! Love you Gabi<3
Nate Ross

Nate, along with his wife Bekah, have served in campus ministry with The Navigators for 7 years, which was how he met Sean and Sara. Nate met Sean his first week on campus as a freshman at OSU, and eventually developed a great friendship. Nate hopes to be like Sean when he grows up.
Aly Jim

Aly is Sean's little sister, but more importantly a good friend of Sara's, who always inspires her to be more creative, eat better, exercise more, and drink less coffee. This girl is on top of life and going to do big things! They've bonded over twinning as VSCO girls for Halloween, painting pumpkins, playing flag football, and going on a very cold sunrise hike in the winter! She has a very admirable adventurous spirit and Sara loves being adventurous with her! Love you Aly<3
Jacob Wolf

Sean met Jacob during his freshman year at Oregon State University in the West Hall dorms. They grew a friendship out of a mutual love of comics, humor, and good old fashioned video games. Over the course of three years together at Oregon State, Sean introduced him to The Navigators ministry where they became not only friends in life, but brothers in Christ. Whether it is disc golf or bible study, Jacob and Sean have found ways to stay connected through this pandemic and be there for one another.
Bekah Ross

Bekah Ross was Sara's rock throughout college. Sara started out attending her Bible Study as a freshman and Bekah became the person she could always turn to when she needed advice or a listening ear in college. Bekah is still a mentor of Sara's, who is continually in awe of Bekah's God-given strength as she walks through life. Now, instead of meeting up on campus and talking about a particular boy Sara was crushing on, they chill on Bekah's couch in her living room watching Hamilton and sipping wine! Love you Bekah Ross<3
Cole Evered

Cole met Sean in the dorms during their freshman year at Oregon State University. They became good friends over the course of the next few years, bonding over their love of board games. Sean and Cole continued to grow their friendship and Sean played a pivotal role in Cole becoming a Christian - reading the Bible with him, inviting him to Bible study, and pouring into him throughout their first few years of college. Cole is excited for Sean and Sara as they take these next few steps in life together, and is looking to many more years of laughs and friendship.
