Chris and Nathan

Best Mister Sisters

Jimmy and David are some of the first #NewFriends we met soon after moving to San Francisco in 2015 at one of the fantastic BearBQs they hosted. Instantly our bonds grew with so much we had in common, but also the differences that made our friendship unique - along with a little help from Henry and Chewy. Together we've had amazing trips around the world, dressed up in the craziest of costumes, and floated down many rivers in many states (of mind). We've laughed, we've cried, and we've grown. Chris and I have learned to let our wigs down more often, and Jimmy and David now (occasionally) fly first class. In the craziness that has been the last few years, we've been so grateful to have our chosen family of Jimmy and David to share it with.

Angela Maureen

Queen of the Feast

Jimmy and I met in South Florida 29 years ago (after our parents started dating), and I am incredibly blessed to have him in my life! He is the brother I never had with the biggest heart! He can light up a room instantly with his warm and fun energy, and we just laugh for hours. We went to the same high-school and attended the University of Central Florida together in Orlando, FL. Jimmy eventually found his way to San Francisco, and I met David shortly after Jimmy and David started dating and have been fortunate to get to know the generous, fun, and caring David that means so much to Jimmy. I have had the chance to visit San Francisco to spend time with both Jimmy and David over the years and have seen them grow together in this beautiful city. I am looking forward to celebrating love, life, and joy with them on May 7!

Shannon and Victor Olivieri

Duke and Duchess of Apron Party

David and Jimmy are our friend family. Shannon originally met Jimmy and David through Sexitude (a San Francisco dance group), and our friendship blossomed from there. Shannon joined the cast of Drunk Drag Broadway, quickly finding a second home at the Murray House. In September 2020, Jimmy officiated Shannon and Victor’s wedding, while David stepped in to gift us with his amazing photography skills and capture the day. David and Jimmy are our daughter Catalina’s favorite guncles, just don’t tell the rest of her guncles! #ApronParty

Johnny and David

Hashtag Besties

We have known Pittman for many many years. The three of us clicked immediately-we would spend our days off biking, tanning, weekend trips to Palm Springs or Guernville and of course dancing the night away. We moved to NYC in 2014 and have stayed in constant contact since. When we visited San Francisco in 2015 and got to meet Jimmy the apple in Pittman’s eye. Now that we are all back in the same state we look forward to seeing each other more often. So excited for David and Jimmy to start this new adventure together.

Kieth Tomasek

Great Lord of Wrapping Surprise

Jimmy came into my life in Orlando when he was just about to turn 30. We became close friends and even though he moved away to San Fransisco our friendship has remained strong and true!

Michelle Krause

Glee the Mythic Goddess of Magic

Michelle Krause has known and adored Jimmy for more than twenty five years! Our glorious love was ignited in 1997 in Seminole Hall at UCF, but our paths crossed many a year earlier as adolescent thespians in Fort Lauderdale. Throughout the years, we've played many parts together---not so struggling actors living it up in Astoria, dancing Queens in Tokyo, hallucinating wanderers in Key West, to grand theatre producers in Orlando. Jimmy is my best friend and a man to whom I pledged eternal honesty many a year ago. Though our lives have each greatly changed, we continue to support each other's desires and dreams. Our bond is rooted in honesty and shall continue to sway, sashay, and bloom forever! I love you and love the love you've found in David! Michelle can also be credited with first opening the closet door and lovingly walking him out to stand in his own light. ❤️

Eyander Hempler

Acid Jesus and Prince of Ushing

After meeting Jimmy and David at Lazy Bear in 2018 we became instant friends. From trips down the river, dance parties at Club Murray, rides to and from medical procedures, to grocery runs when the others aren't feeling well; it truly has been a nonstop joyride. Cut from the same fabulous cloth, we ensure that any room we enter is filled with laughter and love. I am truly honored to be a part of Jimmy and David's big day and can't wait to celebrate their love for many years to come. ❤️

Laney Brice

Lady Globetrotter of Charleston

Lucky to have David be one of my great friends for the last 25 years and so happy to celebrate his marriage! We have been through some crazy times, cramped quarters, outrageous(crazy!) situations and finally found ourselves celebrating the relationship he has always deserved. I’m lucky as well to have Jimmy be such a dear and true friend. Wishing them both continued joy and happiness… love you both and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Cathe Picconi

The Queen of Sparkle

I met David when he was 21. We always felt we were family to each other. I always say “A day without David is like a day without sunshine.” David is a bright light of happiness, optimism & laughter. I am forever grateful that you have been in my life all these years. I love seeing David & Jimmy together. I’ve never seen him happier. I’m so thrilled for the two of you! I wish you both all the best. Much love & happiness💕🌈❤️

Jan Mckinney

Mama Jan

Jan was Jimmy's residence hall director, advisor, friend and mentor at the University of Central Florida. She quickly became Mama Jan and has been so ever since. She even met her husband Barry as a result of an event that Jimmy was chairing. She's the reason he went into higher education and attended the University of South Carolina (Go Cocks!). She has two talented kids, Mark, a genius, and Scott, a tumbling wonder and more importantly, Jimmy's Godson.

Charlie Brown

Bambi's Bestie and Surrogate

Jimmy's Mom's best friend for 100 years. Ask her how they met. You won't be disappointed with the story!

Brandi Watterson

Vice Chancellor of Image Sharing

Jimmy and I met in class at UCF back in '99 and actually dated. The best part about dating an in-the-closet gay guy is he was very romantic and planned sweet dates - I think our first kiss was in the Arboretum surrounded by flowers! And here we are life long friends 20+ years later! Jimmy has always been my exciting adventurer - moved to South Carolina for grad school, then NYC, Japan, and then SF where he met the sweet and lovable David. As soon as I met David I knew he was special, the ying to Jimmy's yang. David immediately became family as well (guncles to my Orlando furkids of course) and I couldn't be more thrilled to help celebrate their union!

Mark and Timos

#hashbrownfriends

We first became familiar with Jimmy and David through the BearBQs they had hosted at their house. This was an important time for us- we had actually just started dating, and they were among the first friends we made as a new couple. It's hard to really nail down the key points in our relationship where they moved from "the BearBQ guys" to friends, and finally to family. But over the 6+ years we have known them, David and Jimmy have contributed to our growth as humans. From feeling free to let out our femme sides, to enjoying the beauty in everyday things, and of course just being there for us as we walk though the ups and downs life throws our way; they have been with hugs when we need them...and a reality check when we need that too. I just have to say: Cheers to the grooms, to the life they continue to build, and the adventures we will continue to share with them!

Perry Boldt

Sir Small Town Diva of Poetic Glory

As the OGs (Original Gays) in a large family of Canadian descent, we always knew geography would never separate us. Sure I hid in the closet for a while. But Jimmy, was always the courageous one. He stood by my side, offered sage advice, all while I’m certain he was juggling 17 other things, as Jimmy does. He’s encouraged me and inspired me limitlessly through this life, always reminding me laughter and glitter are essential, and often best served by sassy queens. I’ve had the privilege of joining Jimmy on a few voyages We once walked Daytona beach seeking a sunrise. Despite the cloudy skies, he still managed to bring sunshine and unexpected hilarity, as he always does. A few years later, we stood on the bra-festooned bar, Coyote Ugly in NYC and sang show tunes as the seaman of Fleet Week cruised on by. But that’s another story. Less injury laden adventures included stargazing on a dock in Key West, where we accepted that conch fritters were more likely on the menu for us than honorary Doctorates in Astro-Physics. When Jimmy moved to SF, he found a home in one of the world’s most beautiful and expensive cities, and found true love in a beautiful, but equally expensive fiancé. (Kidding David!) Can’t wait to celebrate this special day with you both as you embark on the next adventure. Huge hugs.
