This is Charlotte's version of Central Park. It is especially beautiful in the spring. Enjoy a stroll around the duck pond or let the kids play on the playground, which includes a real life locomotive from an old train!

Uptown Charlotte's prettiest park. Close to the light rail!
10 PARK LANES
STRIKE!! This bowling alley has food, beer, wine, and liquor and is located on one of Charlotte's biggest bar hopping streets. Also, if you are looking for a more low key, traditional bowling alley, AMF Centennial Lanes at 4501 South Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28209 is a great option!
Haberdish
If you are looking for a slightly upscale vibe with great cocktails and delicious fried chicken, this is your place! In fact, this is where we went out to eat when I met Jimmy's mom for the first time!
Workman’s Friend
Looking for Irish comfort food? Look no further. Workman's friend is a small pub in the Plaza Midwood neighborhood that makes you feel like you are in Ireland!
Sandwich Max
If you're looking for for lunch, this is your spot. Great subs and sandwiches. Located in Charlotte's favorite neighborhood :)
Pinky's Westside Grill
Who doesn't want to eat in a restaurant with a VW bug on the roof?! This dive bar is home to some of the city's best greasy food!
Tupelo Honey
A great southern brunch option. We are pretty sure this is the main reason Jimmy's mom comes to visit.
Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams
Sometimes you just need ice cream. Jeni's is close to the light rail and so so good!
Heist Brewery
Where we had our first date! Also, great beer and in Charlotte's "art district." It's walkable to restaurants, art galleries, bars, and other breweries.
Wooden Robot Brewery
Wooden Robot is our place. We originally started going there for dates because it was equidistant between our houses. Now, its just a special spot for us that has great beer and fun trivia. We even got second place in trivia once with our friends Anna and Pat! #SmartyPints
Suffolk Punch Brewing
This brewery/coffee house/restaurant combo is right across the street from the venue and has great cocktails, good beer, and excellent food.
NoDa Company Store
This is Charlotte's (the person, not the city) favorite bar. Its a homey place with beer, wine, board games, and art work on the walls. Very family friendly! Also home to Charlotte's (the city, not the person) best kept secret: On Sundays the owners do a free lunch for the community. That's right, no strings attached, come and grab some food before you head home on Sunday!

Prefer wine to beer? We've got you covered. Dilworth Tasting Room boasts a large selection of wine and delicious charcuterie boards. Located in Jimmy's favorite neighborhood in Charlotte :)
