We're getting married!

We met at O'Neill Middle School track practice. Our first memories include jumping hurdles and running around Barth Pond together (where Jim later proposed). Although we didn't pursue Olympic track careers, we started a friendship, just as some of the best love stories do. We had some classes together in high school: Algebra and Physics. Monica remembers Jim as witty and quiet, and Jim remembers Monica as fun and sweet. It wasn't until after college that we reunited and rekindled our friendship. We had our first date at Morton Arboretum and are thrilled to start our next chapter there, too. Looking back, those middle school track days were the unexpected starting line of our life together.
