Jim and I are very close to Dad. Dad has always been there for us and has been a BIG supporter and is protective of our relationship. I think the day Jim asked for my hand in marriage from dad, was the day Dad finally stopped worrying about who will look after me when he no longer can. We share a love of watching Game Shows like Family Feud, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. We will be on one of those shows soon!! haha Of all the things we have done in our lifetime, we are proud to say dad, being our dad, and him caring and advocating for us the biggest and most unforgettable experience.

Mama, Jim and I have a special bond and she is hands down Norty's favorite person. Mama would say to others when she introduces me, "Alex is my sister" Ha! Mama says you and Jim are perfect for each other and couldn’t imagine anyone better – or as patient! – as Jim...she knew he is the right person to show that through ups and down and across the years love can grow and last. She says everyone that Jim meets is touched by his kindness, generosity, love for life and cheeky humor. She says she feels so blessed that Jim entered our lives and always laughs at his jokes... he does bring so much laughter and happiness the family....with all this said, what am I chopped liver? Obviously, mama has favorites. Well, Mama and I both share a love for Karaoke haha! and Jim enjoys attending our amazing concerts at home together. Shouts out the "I don't know this song!" in karaoke then belts out and performs like a DIVA. She is the Whitney to my Houston, the Mariah to my Carey and the Diana to my Ross...Ok mom, we see you.

Karen and I (Alex) took I/O Psych class together and laughed our butts off EVERY DAY. I still remember Karen standing by the doorway for class signaling me to have coffee after class coz she didn't make in in time. I always got her back by having typewritten notes for her LOL She used to ask me "Why do you sleep so much!" and I said, "Coz being a mom is tiring!" Now she tells me, "Ugh now I know why you slept so early and so much when we were in College LOL" To this day she is still trying her BEST to add color to my wardrobe. She is a momma of my BEAUTIFUL INAANAKs. And to this DAY, we have been doing our own thing as BFFs and going on our adventures...now she is a momma and we do Family Trips and Superbowl in Vegas plus the usual Boiling Crab shenanigans! Oh! NO GUMMY BEAR SHOTS please. They're scary.

Katie and I (Alex) shared History of Psych together and since then it was history. We even had a time where we worked together at College! We STILL are thick as thieves! We were neat freaks then and neat freaks now, (well Katie is not controlling at all haha! Just ME LOL) as evidenced by the way we PLAN everything together (shopping, trips to Chitown and Cali, dinners, etc are so STRATEGIC and very CALCULATED). We do not like to waste time and we always try to make the most of our time together LOL. Katie now has competition in the BFF Lane, her daughter Mia loves Auntie Alex and she has taken over our Zoom dates. Katie is the calm to my storm and the breath of fresh air. She knows what to say and how to say it so my mind slows down. No way I can see myself married (again) without Katie (and her FAM) by my side.

Who knew my Pure Barre work out partner would turn out to be one of my best friends getting ready to stand by me on my wedding day? Who knew that he could be a SHADE THROWER but TBH it comes out as GREAT ADVICE (except for Torrid)...Justin is my karaoke QUEEN, SHOPPING PARTNER IN CRIME (literally coz he only sees red (bottoms)), the VISIONARY when it comes to having great taste (I disagreed with the lavender crocs), and the one who puts me in CHECK when SASS is obvious. We would watch him any day on the web for his QUEEN B presentations for Irvine City Council. Means the world to me that he is standing by us to this day. Branding him as AARON's FAVE PERSON coz Aaron always says it. Been through so much with him and he (and Ryan) are my friends who became FAMILY.
