Palos Heights staple. Food is farm to table with vegetarian and vegan options.

Upscale diner with great pastries and fresh made donuts. Known for their brunch options and eclectic ambiance. Outdoor seating and definitely a popular place.
Blissful Banana Cafe
Fun fact: This is where Kyle and Jillian's first date was. Jillian dropped chicken off her salad and couldn't reach it to pick it up off the floor - Kyle was sworn to silence that it didn't happen. Jillian loves the Southwest Chicken salad or you can wrap it up! Great vegan and vegetarian options! Good coffee selection and some outdoor seating.

For all the avocado toast lovers! Serves food all day with avocados as the star, but has other great options. Offers gluten free options for those who require it!
Pekoe & Bean
Cool places to try coffee and tea that is not chain related like Starbucks or Dunkin. It has a tea room where you can reserve a spot for afternoon tea or just grab and go from the coffee bar.

Charming place that has good coffee and pastry selections that showcases artwork from local artists.
Capri Ristorante Italiano
Great Italian food. Jillian and Kyle frequent their pizza takeout on the north end of the restaurant. Serve wine by the goblet glass - very generous pours. It is a local favorite, make a reservation to ensure seating.
Rocco's Little Italy
Buzzard family favorite! Great appetizers such as the mussels. Has a more intimate feel.
Tradycja Restaurant Polish Fusion Cuisine
Great date night place. Has great polish food and atmosphere. We recommend the perogis.
Joy of Thai
A favorite of Jillian and Kyle! We love the chicken baby egg rolls and Pad See Ew with beef. Great family run place and is recognized as one of the top Thai places in the Chicagoland area. Popular place with limited seating, takeout tastes just as good.
Wooden Paddle
GREAT pizza options - not your typical cheese and sauce pizza and options change seasonally. We've seen "Banh Mi" pizza and "Duck around and find out" pizza. Jillian loves ranch with pizza and their dips are homemade so you must try them. Pizzas are shareable or personal if you're really hungry! Great cocktails and in downtown Lemont that is walkable with nice shops.
Plush Horse Palos Park
Jillian has been going there for ice cream since childhood and it has been serving since 1937. Well known staple in Palos Park - has outdoor benches to relax on. Recommended favorite of the Devitt's: Mint Chocolate Chip and Chocolate Mousse. Kyle loves the Coffee ice cream. For the wedding goers further south, there is a pop up location in Tinley Park to check out, which is where Kyle suggested he and Jillian go after he didn't want their first date to end!
