Our venues and hotel are primarily located in downtown Calgary. Check out the Stephen Avenue pedestrian-only street for restaurants and historical sandstone buildings like the original City Hall, then head north to Chinatown. Grab a drink to go and enjoy it on the lawn in Prince's Island Park! If you're looking for more restaurants and shops, venture to the neighbourhood of Kensington, just north of downtown.
Families can see one of Jillian's childhood favourites by visiting this historical village featuring horse-drawn wagon rides, a 19th-century townsite, and a functioning steam engine train that takes visitors around the park. While you're there, check out Krushi's adulthood favourite, Gasoline Alley Museum, near the entrance. It's one of the world's largest collection of restored antique vehicles and gas pumps!
If you have an extra day or two, we highly recommend spending it in Banff. The views from the Lake Agnes Tea House hike pair perfectly with dinner in town at Park Distillery. The Canada Strong pass (no registration required) available this summer will grant you free admission to the park. Note that Lake Moraine (aka Reddit Lake, pictured) requires a shuttle reservation and no longer allows private vehicle access. Shuttle details are at the link.
