we're getting married!

The year was 1997, “Candle In the Wind” by Elton John topped the Billboard Hot 100, and Titanic was demolishing box office records. In a small preschool in Portland, Oregon, Jillian and Isaac were meeting for the first time. It’s hard to say if love was in the air (they were both two years old) but a connection was born that would be rekindled many years later. Fast forward 20 years, Elton John was no longer dominating the charts, and young Leo had become old Leo. Jillian and Isaac were both living in Portland after college. Through a stroke of technological chance, they reconnected to catch up for old time's sake. The date was set, Alto Lounge for their notorious $3 happy hour cocktails. The date must have gone well because eight years later Jillian and Isaac are still hanging out. Through many jobs, cars, moves, adventures, and pieces of Ikea furniture (so many), they’ve built a life together filled with laughter and love. We can’t wait to celebrate this new chapter with all of our friends and family!
