Where is the venue located?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at Morning Glory Farm, 6205 Kate Road, Monroe, NC 28110.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive around 3:00 p.m. to allow sufficient time to get settled before the ceremony begins at 3:30 p.m.

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We would love for our guests to dress in semi-formal attire, such as suits and knee-length or longer dresses.

Is there a designated hotel for guests?

Answer

We have a hotel room block with Hyatt Centric Charlotte SouthPark for the best overall experience for our guests. Please see our Travel page for detailed information regarding the room block.

Will transportation be provided to the venue?

Answer

We have a arranged a transportation service from the hotel, Hyatt Centric Charlotte SouthPark, to the venue and back. It will accommodate all guests staying at the hotel, and there is nothing you need to do in advance to reserve a spot. We will provide additional details regarding pickup and departure times.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors. The rest of the evening will be a mix of indoor and outdoor celebration with dinner served inside the Glass House.

Is there parking at the venue?

On-site parking is available for guests. We encourage guests to take advantage of the transportation service provided to and from the hotel for a convenient experience.

Can I bring a date?

Please refer to your formal invitation for your guest count. We have designated plus-ones for certain guests. If you have any questions, please reach out to Jillian or Gabe directly.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Our wedding will be an adults-only celebration with the exception of our nieces and nephew. Due to the nearby lake and nature of the venue, this will allow everyone to celebrate more comfortably and safely. We sincerely appreciate your understanding.

What is the weather typically like in this area?

Answer

In early October, the weather is usually mild with the average high temperature around 77° and the average low around 58°.
