Hampton Inn Ellsworth/Bar Harbor

We are still working on the logistics, but we plan to have a shuttle from Ellsworth to Bar Harbor for those who decide to stay in Ellsworth.

Ellsworth to and from Bar Harbor Shuttle

A shuttle will be set up to pick up guests who stay in Ellsworth. The shuttle will provide ONE pick up time and ONE drop off time. Pick up times will likely be at 3pm at the Hampton Inn in Ellsworth. The shuttle back to Ellsworth will be at 12:00 am. We will plan to have an afterparty at a local bar until close. Note, there are multiple hotels within walking distance of the Hampton Inn in Ellsworth so if you cannot find a room that works well for you at the Hampton, please check out other areas. Lyfts and Ubers will be extremely limited, so do not plan on having that access.

Bar Harbor Places to Stay

There are multiple places to stay in Bar Harbor itself, whether its a hotel, airbnb or other. Daniel and Jill will be staying at The Harbor Side Hotel because it is included with our wedding package. We totally realize this Hotel is not cheap, which is why we are providing options to stay in Ellsworth. However, there are many hotels and air bnbs in Bar Harbor that are within walking distance of the reception. These will fill up fast as it is a holiday weekend. If you decide to stay in Bar Harbor, please be sure to check that your spot is within walking distance of the reception at the Bar Harbor Club Boat House (within the Harbor Side Hotel).

Bangor International Airport (BGR)

+ 1hr drive from there to Bar Harbor. This is the closest, and typically least expensive option.

Portland International Jetport Airport (PWM)

+ 3-3.5 hour drive to get to Bar Harbor. This airport is more accessible, especially for direct flights; however, will be a longer distance to travel. Be sure to save a few $1 bills for the toll on i95 or set your google maps/wayz to "non-toll" which will only add about 10 mins to your route -- and it's a prettier drive.

Hancock County-Bar Harbor Airport (BHB)

+ 20 min drive. This is the closest airport to Bar Harbor, but by far the most expensive.
