Semi formal/casual for the wedding day. Think a button down with jeans for the guys and a sundress for the ladies. The ground will be natural and uneven so we recommend not wearing heels. We want you to be comfortable so no need to over think it! Check out this Pinterest board for ideas! Later on, we will be outside and it can get cold, so bringing a cozy change of clothes and a good sweater might be a good idea!
Your invitation will indicate if you can bring a plus 1. We are keeping our wedding intimate and can't wait to celebrate with our closest friends and family.
We have the campground reserved from Friday afternoon through Sunday morning. Please camp both nights, one night or none! The site accommodates tents and truck tents but does not permit campers or trailers.
There are 9 designated tent pads. We are also permitted to put up some tents in areas in the mostly-gravel main camping area. We want to be mindful of the alpine grass and flora and ask you to not put up a tent where it could be harmful to those plants. In addition, there are car camping accessible areas in the two parking lots on site. Due to limited space, we recommend carpooling and finding a friend to share a tent with if possible! Finally, we encourage you to bring your hammocks if you are one who enjoys to spend the night under the stars!
There is a pavilion that we will have access to for the weekend with two bathrooms and potable water that will be available 24/7. There are an additional two composting toilets in the main campground area and we will be bringing in some portable toilets as well. There is potable water available on-site. We recommend bringing a large water jug with you if you plan on camping.
We will provide the following food: -Welcome party light bites -Light breakfast for morning of the wedding -Wedding dinner -Light Breakfast for the morning after We will also provide water, soft drinks, and kegs of beer for refreshments during the wedding. If you have a particular beverage that you would like to sip on, we encourage you to BYOB. If you are camping and staying on site for the most part, please plan on bringing some food and drinks to hold you over. There are also lots of good restaurants and some markets/grocery stores in the nearby towns.
Of course not! We want you to be comfortable. If camping isn't your vibe, check out the travel tab for some accommodations in the area.
We love dogs! Please use your judgement and be mindful of those around you. During the ceremony and dinner, we ask you to have your dogs in a confined area. Please keep your dog leashed. The camp host has a dog and other guests may bring theirs as well so if yours doesn't play well with others, please consider against bringing your pup.
