Joey, as most of you know, is Jillian's big sis. They met on August 27, 1988 and have been besties ever since. They are super close and have more inside jokes and funny memories than they can count. They are both foodies, so they are always sharing recipes with one another. Joey just recently got married in New Orleans, so it's been exciting sharing all the planning together! She is a Director of Marketing in NOLA by day, and dances with the Muff-a-lottas by night ! She and her husband, Phil live in Mid-City.
Chason Huggins
Best Man
Chason and Alfred met in 2012 while they were both attending grad school at the San Francisco Art Institute. They instantly hit it off as best friends with their mutual love of Pusha T, Run the Jewels and all other things hip-hop. Chason and Alfred made a habit of going to watch the San Francisco Giants play, eating garlic fries, drinking a lot of Anchor Steam, and usually trash-talking the L.A. Dodgers together. Chason lives in San Francisco and works as a bartender.
Andi Lex

Andi and Jillian met back in 2005, just a few weeks after Hurricane Katrina. They sat next to each other in English class at the high school Jillian was going to in Lafayette, LA. Andi heard from a family friend that Jillian was at the school and didn't know anyone. She found her, asked her to sit together at lunch, and the rest is history! Andi is an Assistant District Attorney in Houston and lives there with her husband Jake and their two pups, Spencer and Dexter.
Phil Yearous

Phil is Alfred and Jillian's brother in law. Phil and Alfred share a similar love for the Rando sisters, beer, Batman and the Dallas Cowboys...JUST KIDDING! Phil hates the Cowboys and loves the Denver Broncos. Phil is originally from Longmont, CO, but he moved to New Orleans in 2014, where he met Jillian's sister, Joey the following year. Phil is a teacher and coach in Bush, LA, and he and Joey live in NOLA.
Schyler Cochran

Schyler and Jillian go all the way back to 2009 in geology class at ULL where they became very fast friends. Once Schyler got introduced to Alfred, it was like the new Three Muskateers had formed. They once spent a whole summer in college watching TrueBlood on DVD (when they could find them all at Blockbuster....wow, what an old sounding sentence!) If you're ever around the three of them, you'll most likely hear them quote Mike Tyson back and forth to each other. Schyler is a project manager and lives with her husband Kevin in Geneva, IL with their diva-dog, Nola.
Charles Hilt

Chuck and Alfred met through mutual friends back while they were both attending school at UL Lafayette, and they haven't looked back since. Alfred and Chuck are basically the same nerd, just trapped in two different bodies. Their favorite pastime is to call each other and geek out for hours about any new movie, comic book, or UFC fight. Chuck works as a Photo Retoucher at Stuller, Inc in Lafayette, LA (that is until Alfred can finally convince him to move to Dallas!)
Suzanne Minatra

Suzanne and Jillian met in 2012. She and Alfred are both from Fort Worth, TX but didn't know each other until grad school in San Francisco. One night after some bar hopping, Suzanne and Jillian ate an entire pizza while Alfred was passed out asleep and pretty much decided right then and there that they would be best friends. Suzanne is a super talented artist and makes really cool things with her letterpress. She lives in Fort Worth, TX with her super-photogenic dog, Maude.
Hung Le

Hung and Alfred became friends in 2009 in Lafayette, LA while they were both in school. Jillian gets credit for this friendship as she is the one who introduced them (to this day Hung will say that he's Jillian's friend...not Alfred's haha!) The two of them have a shared passion for hip-hop, sneakers and good food, especially hot-pot! Hung used to come out to the Bay Area to visit his family often, and would always make time to see Alfred and Jillian while he was there. Hung works and lives in Denver, CO.
Samantha Calegan

Sam and Jillian met through Martin in 2012 after she and her husband, Gerrad moved from Louisiana to San Francisco on a whim! Obviously, NOLA people find each other wherever we go! Sam and Jillian both also LOVE Queen Bey (that's Beyonce, for anyone who lives under a rock) and saw her in concert together. Sam loves the outdoors, and when she's not biking or hiking, she is traveling the world and posting the best Instagram photos. She's an HR Manager and lives with her husband Gerrad in San Francisco with their fur-baby Lola.
Jay Nguyen

Jay and Alfred met through Jillian in 2009....see a trend here? Jay and Jillian were working at the same restaurant in Lafayette, LA. Jay took Alfred and Jillian out for a night of hibachi and drinking, and ever since then, they have all been the best of friends. Jay is a Bay Area native and was a key part in convincing Alfred to move and attend graduate school in San Francisco. Jay now lives in San Jose with his girlfriend, Vi, when they aren't busy traveling the world.
Martin Strickland

Jillian met Martin in 2011 when he and Alfred were in grad school together in San Francisco. Martin is from Montgomery, AL, but lived in NOLA for 5 years before moving to SF for grad school. They met at an event called SanFraNOLA - it was like a New Orleans party in SF. I always say the best way to meet someone is over a bowl of jambalaya! Martin loves to travel, hike and drink a good ol' Manhattan. He lives and works in SF as Assistant Registrar at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.
Kyte Aymond

Kyte and Alfred have been friends for over 11 years. They met freshman year in college in art class and became roommates shortly after. Kyte introduced Alfred to Louisiana culture and cuisine...along with some of Kyte's own culinary experiments. Kyte also introduced Jillian to escargot for the first time! Kyte is an art teacher and lives in Plaquemine, LA with his girlfriend, Bitsy and their greyhound, Rothko (oh, and a bunch of chickens.)
Lizzie Agra

Lizzie and Jillian met in April 2012 when they started working at BBDO San Francisco the same month. She is one of the most genuine people you'll ever meet, and she'll also write you a thank you note for literally everything :-) Within the first year of us knowing each other, she let Alfred and Jillian stay at her home one night and drove them to the airport at 4am so they wouldn't have to leave their car there and pay for parking. What a gal! Lizzie is a Marketing Manager in SF and has made a career for herself in advertising. She lives in Daly City, CA.
Christian Marrero

Alfred has known Christian since before he was born. Growing up, Alfred loved every opportunity he got to see/visit his little cousin (Christian lived in Florida until he was 6). Christian is just one of Alfred's 7 boy cousins, so needless to say, much fun and trouble has been shared over the years. Christian recently graduated from Texas A&M and now lives in Kerrville, TX (ever heard of it?) until Alfred and the rest of his family can steal him back to civilization.
Audrey Cabatan

Audrey and Jillian met in 2015 when their companies moved to the same floor of a new building. They helped plan a lot of floor wide events together and became really close, really fast. They always joke that they're basically the same person, because they'll text each other with the same thoughts at the same time. It's so crazy! Audrey is a super talented Production Designer and UX/UI Designer and lives with her husband, Will, and their adorable Golden Retriever puppy, Calliope, in Washington, D.C.
Nathaniel Marrero

Nathaniel is another one of Alfred's cousins (and is Christian's younger brother). Alfred takes pride in being the one to show Nathaniel how to shoot a basketball and teaching him the sickest cross-over any 6-year-old has ever seen. Alfred and Nathaniel share very similar interests in music, sports, fashion...and pretzels. He currently lives in San Marcos, TX where he's attending Texas State University.
Felicity Dello Russo

Felicity is Alfred's sister and Jillian's soon-to-be sister in law! They met in 2008 when Alfred and Jillian started dating. She is super talented at crafting, and personalizes everything from clothing and accessories to mugs and tumblers. She is an amazing 2nd grade teacher in Arlington, TX and she and her husband, Joey, live in Burleson, TX with their pitbulls/goofballs, Micah, Mia and Millie.
Joey Dello Russo

Joey and Alfred met in 2003 when he started dating Alfred’s sister, Felicity. Alfred spent a lot of time being the third wheel on their dates, while slowly becoming another little brother to Joey. Joey officially became Alfred’s brother-in-law in 2012 when he married Felicity! Joey is a General Manager and he and Felicity live in Burleson, TX with their pups, Micah, Mia and Millie.
