Bridal Veil Falls is a 45-foot waterfall located in the Nantahala National Forest, northwest of Highlands, North Carolina. With a short curve of roadway located behind the falls, it has the distinction of being the only waterfall in the state that one can drive a vehicle under.

Their “premium zip-lining experience” includes 8 zip-lines up to 250’ above the ground and 1,550’ long. These zip-lines whisk you through corridors carved into the tree canopies and across wide open spaces for some of the best views in the area!

A campus extension of Western Carolina University, The Highlands Biological Station is made up of the Highlands Nature Center, Botanical Gardens, and laboratory. The station is a wonderful place for a quiet stroll through nature.
