Where will the ceremony and reception be taking place?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be taking place at the Farm at Old Edwards Inn. The ceremony will take place in The Orchard House, and a reception at The Pavilion will follow. Both locations are indoors and located at the same property. Transportation from local hotels will be provided, and the venue has ample parking for those who choose to drive.

What should I wear?

Answer

We request semi-formal/cocktail attire: suits (ties optional) for the guys, and cocktail/party dresses for the ladies.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Highlands tends to be significantly cooler than surrounding southern cities due to its higher altitude. The average high in Highlands during the month of October is around 63 degrees, and the average low is 42. We anticipate this climate will bring some early fall color!

Can children attend this wedding?

Answer

To give all our guests the opportunity to let their hair down and have a good time without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no small children.

Can I take and post picture of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We ask that our ceremony be camera and phone free. We have hired a wonderful photography team to take photos, and hope our guests will sit back and enjoy. However, during the cocktail hour and reception, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels. Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #jilliam2020 so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Answer

Absolutely! We will serve beer, wine, and cocktails during our cocktail hour and reception.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
